Scott & Sabina - December, 2006

Hey everyone, been a bit of a procrastinator as we were down to Hedo 3
for NYE Dec 27 to Jan 6th (10 nights) and managed to experience a Hedo
New Years for the first time. Recent trip reports seem to be a bit
lacking so we will give our viewpoint. Booked this trip through Denny and
had absolutely no problems. Good rates, excellent service and check-in
no problems. New Years eve was an awesome experience. We had started up
a Yahoo group and used Denny's visitor schedule to get ahold of people
travelling at the same time. We ended up with about 28 couples that we
were able to meet and greet via the net before we got there...plus many
returning guests that made the trip really special. Always great to see
old friends again.

  New Years Eve:
Dinner was set up on the prude deck with a large stage under the
basketball net. The buffet was fabulous...many,many different stations and
tons of food. They had BBQ's set up and were doing Prime Rib, Suckling
Pig and even a Lobster...too many choices and way too much food. 3 bars
were set up aound the area so there was plenty to drink and
suprisingly, since it was a sellout, there were not wait times for food or drinks.
Champagne flowed in copius amounts. The only downside was a severe
downpour right in the middle of dinner and everyone ran for cover as the
tables were soaked....It was surprising as there was only one cloud in
sight and it sumped right on us. After all the soggy linens were pulled
and dinner continued. The show was awesome, although a bit long...we all
wanted to start dancing, but because of the rain delay we didn't get to
start till about 11 PM. Hot and humid so dancing began and clothes
started to be shed...lots of photo ops with friends. Cheer in the
new year and then off for a naked water slide. If you Haven't had a
Hedo New Years you haven't had a New Years Eve...highly recommend it and
we are planning next year again it was so much fun.

  Weather:
Temps mid 80's all week, evenings a bit cooler, but never needed long
sleeves or sweaters. Despite the fact that it was NOT rainy season, it
poured every night for 2-3 hours after midnight. It can rain all it
wants after 3 AM, but a few times we got caughtin big downpours.
Occasional 15 minute shower during the afternoons, so we just jumped in the nude
Tub to keep warm.

  Food:
Typical Hedo fare, adequate and we did not starve by any means.
Pastafari was excellent and Munasan it's usual entertaining self. Only
managed to get to Scotch Bonnet once...had big Nude pool gravity during the
day. Dissapointed that the ice cream machine wasn't working as we'd
brought cones to take some with us and didn't get to use them.

  Grounds and Rooms:
Far better than last year. We didn't have hot water problems in the
room and they seem to have purchased thermostats for the hot tubs so we
didn't have the temp extremes of previous trip so that was nice.
Property is well kept and they were cleaning the quad extriors when we were
down scrubbing mold and walls. Some of the tiles in the tubs were
starting to fall off again so that will have to be looked at again. Glass
bottom Hot tub by disco was not working at all during our trip, it was
filled, but not hot.

Nude Cruise:
Did the nude cruise on Thursday, managed to get up off our lounger.
Highly recommend it and had a great time. 23 people from Hedo went and
about 5 single guys from another resort were one the boat. Hedo Girls
decided about half way through the trip it was time for them to get
naked...stripped em down and had alot of fun at their expense. Road to Ochi
was completed, although we couldn't figure out why it took 45 min. to
get there and only 25 minutes to reverse the route on the way back.

  General:
Was kind of a weird Hedo trip, there was a noticable lack of slutwear
at dinner and the crowd did not seem "into"it. We dressed in theme
every night for dinner with our group and had a blast trying to show them
what Hedo was all about, got a few more dressing up later in the week.
We did have problems getting into Pastafari with our togas (not sure
what happened to "no sheet no eat") and had to put t-shirts over them on
the guys. The girls were fine in their togas....go figure. PJ night we
all wore our baby dolls (guys and girls) and again had a bit of a
problem at pastafari...had to wear a towel wrapped around us until we sat
down. everyone seemed to cause them a problem except my wife who had the
peekaboo top and crotchless bottoms to her baby doll...she was fine.
Again go figure! The resort was a sellout over NYE and easing up a bit the
first week of January. Service was no problem at all, even when full.
we kept looking around and even though it was busy kept asking
ourselves where everyone was? Crowds were split pretty evenly between
quad and nude side with the obligatory 2 couples over on the prude
beach.
Ocean was pretty rough most of the week, and we didn't get out at
all. There were a couple of days that snorkelling and diving did go, but
for the most part it was red flag no water activities.
PDA's - look hard and they were there but no in your face during daylight. Most of the energy was in the dark later at night.
EC staff was around, but nat as "pushy" as other times. They did do
their schtick, but not evert and mingling with the guests. They need a
new sound system (which I was told was coming?) as you couldn't
understand a word that was said over their PA system.

  Sangster:
Airport from hell on the way back. Getting into Jamaica was not
problem, but getting out was something else/ The line to clear security was
the entire length of the airport (plane left at 4PM) and it took 1 1/2
hours to get through the line. No air conditioning as it was still
broken from last year. They would pull people from line to expedite them
through as their plane was boarding. We had no time to shop at all and a
mad dash for the plane. The security people were intrigued by the
chainmail dress and the vibrator though. Even had 30 of our 48 AA batteries
still in the bag that gave an amazing X-ray.

Overall another great trip. People we met and had a great party with
are too many to mention, and not much interest to others reading this
report, but you all know who you are. See y'all next year
