Jason & Deanna - April, 2007

Arrival at MoBay on April 16th was better than expected. No delays in customs at all. Then off to the Super Clubs welcoming committee. They were very quick and friendly.

We were a little disappointed because we heard so much about the bus ride and it being the place the party starts. We were carted off to the parking lot, seeing all the buses and thought, great look at all the people to make friends with, but no. We were politely escorted to a van with no one but the driver in it, and he seemed to be in quite a hurry. “Are we waiting for anyone else?” we asked. “No just you” was the response. So with our little bottle of water we are off to H3, with the driver and no one else. The trip was fairly uneventful and quite quick, reaching H3 in just about 1 hour.

Once at H3 we were very pleased with the greeting we received from everyone at the front desk. They told us our room would be ready soon and to have a bite to eat at the Reggae Café/Scotch Bonnet. Sitting by the ocean and eating our first meal of jerk pork was very relaxing. Again, very friendly and efficient waitresses.

Back to the front desk we went about 25 minutes later and were told our room was ready! Joy! Now we can get down to business.

The room was nice, nothing grand or extravagant but let’s be honest, you really only need it to sleep in. Maid service everyday was very slow. We would go back to our room about 1 p.m. and still no clean towels or bed made, but again, we spent limited time in our room.

We were off to explore and found the Quad pool right away. Since it was our first time at a resort like this I felt more comfortable at the Quad. I believe my husband felt the same. The Quad is nice because if you want sun you can sit in the sun but at the bar it is covered so you aren’t in the constant sun. Katieann was GREAT. She is so full of energy and always had a big smile for us everyday. Only complaint about the Quad pool was they need different music. I think they had 2 CD’s that played over and over all day long! And when you spend most of your day there that gets old fast.

First night we ate the buffet on the terrace, it was very plentiful. Everything you can imagine was there to eat-fish, chicken, pork and beef along with all kinds of sides and desserts. If you leave hungry it is your own fault. Pastafari was good as well as Munsan. Nothing top quality but still very good. As said before, if you expect five star quality food H3 is not for you, but you won’t go hungry while you are there.

Second day we got up the nerve to check out the nude pool/beach. Very busy and very hot! Definitely the place all the action is all day and night. All in all not a bad place, way too crowded for us though.

All the theme nights were a blast! PJ night was really busy at the disco. Pimp and Ho/Retro night was pretty slow. Toga night was fun too.

The entertainment every night at the Terrace was great. Very talented young people there.

All the EC’s were fabulous. I can’t imagine how they can keep going ALL day and night long.

Best thing-relaxation and friends. Very relaxed atmosphere and EVERYONE was always friendly. We met many new friends and enjoyed meeting everyone.

Worst thing- not a thing!

Great experience, we will go back for sure!
