Flew US Air out of Charlotte couldn’t get exit aisle seats so for $150 each moved to first
Class. (Money well spent) I’m 6’5. Great trip, free drinks ect… Tried to read the Manuel for my new dive computer but gave up after about an hour I was just too excited thinking about going home and seeing our old friends from Cocktails International. The renovations done to the airport were outstanding it really didn’t resemble the place we first landed 6 short years ago. Customs was a breeze and we were in the Super Clubs lounge in 10 min. 10 min later we were on the bus and on our way. Roads are very improved. One red stripe stop and one emergency bathroom stop and we were home
Room was ready and very clean and no mold anywhere.
Wife was sick first two days (mostly self induced) but with the help from some of the best friends we have in the world we were back on track.
Isn’t funny that people you only see one time a year are some of your dearest friends you have. They know more about you than people you have known or have worked with for 30 years. (Nick, Kerry, Dan, Ju Ju, Ben, De De, James, Ginger, Pat and the list goes on and on. There is a love in the Cocktails Group that I can’t put into words. You really need to experience it your self to really understand.
First day I really remember was Wednesday when I brought out Mr. happy, no not what you Think it’s the yellow smiley faced volleyball we play with. I won coach of the year man I love to see beautiful naked women jump and shake playing with Mr. happy either or. Cocktails had a scavenger hunt with the winner receiving three free days to hedo.
Thursday was to be my virgin dive but a large bacon sandwich and rough water delayed
This until Friday. My wife and several others from cocktails made the dive Thursday while I chummed the water up top. This day they saw and played with two big sea turtles boy was I jealous.
After the dive James and Ginger renewed there wedding vows which was really an inspiration to me.
Thursday night we had the naughty gift exchange (one of my favorite nights)
A great time was had by all.
Determined to dive the next day I turned in early to get plenty of rest.
Friday I got smart and ate a light breakfast and James gave me a med for sea sickness
Man what an allsome experience to have first real dive at Hedo and to have it with my good friends.
Friday night we have our Pastafari Group Dinner and before this I slipped over to the
Gold Links Jewelers the duty free shop a hedo and bought a ring we had looked at the night before received a really great deal also (thanks Manny and De De)
While everyone from cocktails was gathered at the main bar waiting to go in Pastafari I dropped to one knee and re-proposed to Fran my beautiful wife of 8 years
She was SHOCKED many tears later she said yes and it was party on with 40 of our closes friends.
Black Saturday most of our group departed we gave as many as possible the full moon salute and had our last good laugh as they rode in to the real world sunset .
This best way to look at this day is this is the first day of coming back .
Saturday after noon the human Sunday contest was at the nude pool, with remaining cocktails couples wining first place for best Sunday and the other winning first prize for the best clean up.
That night is was really dead only about 5 or six couples at the nude pool all night
One cocktail couple had to leave for the airport a think about 4 am so they stayed up most of the night.
We had to leave at 7 am. Funny thing we met them at the airport and had lunch
Airport is another subject lines not bad but had to throw away about $80 worth of meds
And was told I had to deflate Mr. Happy or go back and check him so he went in the can also wow I bet the black market has all kinds of deals now.
Flight was great no worries.
Getting ready to book our trip for next year.
