Scott & Kathy - February, 2006

Trip report Scott & (Kathy) @ Hedo III Feb 12th to 19th 2006

Due to a nasty blizzard back in Canada, we arrived late at Mo Bay, 2:30 in the AM on Monday the 13th of Feb. breezed through customs and immigration, skipped the beer stop, and arrived at Hedo III 4:30 am. We went to our room on the 2nd floor of the 700 building. 1st time in the 700 building, we liked the central location, but missed the pool view from the 600 building. At 4:45 am we arrived at the nakid Hot tub where we met 2 very nice couples. We partied til 6:30 am, caught a few hours sleep and started our 1st full day at H3 this trip.

I won't give you the day by day details, just some observations. The grounds were well keep and as always,  beautiful. The staff were great. On Monday and Tues the sun did not shine.....we were given our 2 day rain voucher without even having to ask.

Hot tub was hot at times, cooler at other times - in other words, normal in the nakid world.    I don't think you can please everyone all the time anyway on temp issues.  We did spend a day at the quad hot tub (our usual haunt being nakid world) due to inclement weather and it was well functioning with nobody agreeing whether it should be hotter or colder - just right.  Food was great as always - Japanese Restaurant was the best.   A bit disappointed with the Gala Night (no lobster!!!) which was a first.  Piano Bar was very popular, and the Disco was a-thumping - not too many locals but enough.  The ECs were missing for the first of the week due to poor weather - they were actually somewhere - we just didn't see them until the sun came out.  They were wonderful as always once they did join us - Passion and Flex my favs.  We were late getting in and we had two crappy days but the staff at H3 more than looked after us understanding what we were going through - everyone was wonderful.

To summarize, got up everyday, hooked up with the omelette guy, hit the pool to socialize and play volleyball, lunched either at the bar or Scotch Bonnett, back to the pool/fountain for fun, back to the hot tub for sunset, change for dinner, change for main bar/disco theme nights, back to the hot tub for sunrise, repeat.  Still can't wipe the grin off my face.

Some thoughts for future consideration for this resort - OPEN THE BAR BY THE QUAD HOTTUB INTO THE NIGHT!!! - /// - WHAT HAPPENED TO BODY SHOTS BY THE FOUNTAIN IN THE NAKID POOL????? - /// -

This was our 5th trip to Hedo and we didn't feel the place has gone downhill at all. It is not a 5 star resort, and we don't expect it to be. It's more of a four star resort, and in our opinion more fun than any 5 star in the world. As usual the people we met made the trip what it was. We partied with some great couples and for the 1st  time a great single guy - (Hi Al if you're reading this).   We are not into swapping partners, although as usual we hung out with couples who are in the lifestyle in one way or another. We love the sexually charged atmosphere, and no pressure environment. We love being able to reach out and give each other a squeeze whenever/whereever we want.

We heard of the possible mold problems, but found our room to be clean and mold free.    It is a hot, humid location that gets steamed up by the heat, chilled by the AC, and damp.  I can't imagine trying to deal with that moisture in the air.

In summary the resort was great and the people made it the fun place we like to call home. Thanks to Pam & Jason, Tom & Lisa, Fern & Vickie, Anna & Bill, our new friends from Poland, Big Al, Rob & Andrea, Gary and Dee, Gary & Di, George & Pauline,Scott & Tammy, Edie & Jerry, Bruce & DJ, Manny & Trish, Garfield, Gary & Sandy, Danny and Ginnie, Tony & Dana, and Scott & Barbara. Hope to see at least some of you at HedoIII the last week in May 2006.
