Our Hedo lll trip 2/5-2/11/06

 

We left Newark and flew to Jamaica. Totally uneventful flight. We arrived in Jamaica and went through customs and immigration. Please remember to bring a pen. We didn’t have a pen. We had filled out our paper work incorrectly. So, we had to do it again. We then went to the Super Club lounge to meet our bus. We waited about ten minutes for the bus. The bus ride was a slow arduous ride. It rained on and off on the way. We stopped at a roadside bar for a bathroom/drug purchase break. After about ten minutes we continued our journey. We stopped again at another roadside bar for another break. On our bus, we had 4 single girls going to Breezes, 4 single guys going to Hedo to play golf (they were great guys), another couple that we wound up eating dinner with every night, and the most obnoxious couple you have ever met (more about them later).

 

We arrived at Hedo about 4 pm and checked right in. We were told the place was 85% full. We were given room 611, the best room in the place. It is literally 15 ft from the nude pool. The room was neat and clean. No mold mildew or anything like that. Lisa was a little nervous about getting naked. So, we walked around a little and realized ALL the action was at the nude pool. The quad had very little going on and the prude side had nothing at all. I told Lisa that if we were going to have fun, the nude pool was the only way to go. I and got naked first and then Lisa joined in. That was the last time she was apprehensive for the rest of the week. We wound up staying at the nude pool all week, very rarely leaving, except for dinner, disco and the shows at night. We always found our way back to the hot tub for late night meetings with others. We never went to bed before 4 am.

 

I don’t want to bore any one so I will give the rest of my report in sections

 

Room

Excellent. Best room in the whole place. We were told it was the most famous/notorious room there. We did our best to uphold its reputation (wink). The room was clean, free of mold and mildew. Hot water was never a problem. Sometimes it was a little lukewarm, but fine. We were 15 ft from the nude pool. It was cleaned every morning.

 

Food

The food was so so. But, we didn’t come here for food. You want good food; go to a restaurant in Manhattan. All the food had a Jamaican flair to it. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast was decent. We ate lunch everyday at the nude pool. We had dinner at Pastafari a few nights and the Japanese place the others. We thought the Japanese was better then the Italian, but both were decent. The late night buffet at the Scotch Bonnet terrace was always good.

 

Staff and Entertainment

We do not remember all the names of the staff, but man o man, they were awesome. I jokingly complained to female groundskeeper about a bush blocking my view of the nude pool from my room and about a half hour later she was trimming the bush (true story). The bartenders were courteous and friendly. The entertainers were amazing. They are in constant motion, keeping things upbeat all week. They seem to have a never-ending supply of energy. I understand they go from 10 am until 2 am 6 days a week. The shows were great. The piano bar was also fun. The disco needs to be remodeled, but that was fun all the time also. There was a little confusion about beach party night because of the rain one night and also about lobster night, but as they say in Jamaica, no problem, mon. There was also some miscommunication about flirt night being turned into reggae night, but all was fun anyway.

 

Grounds

We spent about 90% of our time at the nude pool and hot tub. We did occasionally walk around the place and it is kept amazingly neat and clean. There are always people doing some sort of cleaning. The hot tub always seemed too hot. It seems they are constantly pumping water into it and out of it. You can feel the cool water coming in and then the hot water would follow immediately. I assume they kept pumping water in and out to keep the tub clean, but I would assume they know how to regulate the temperature. They obviously have problems doing that.

The nude pool has a strict rule about not wearing clothes, but pot smoking was fine (LOL). For real, the security guards were tossing people from the pool if they had clothes on. We liked that because a few people came over to just stare. Most people just walked off without an argument, but 2 different people, 1 guy and 1 female were actually putting up fights (which they lost). Quite honestly, if you have clothes on you will feel out of place.

 

The People

Everyone was awesome. Except the couple from the bus. He got beat up on his last night there. Everyone hated him, amazing. We met couples from all over the USA, from NY to Philly to Iowa to Detroit to Kentucky to San Francisco to Indiana to Hawaii to Wisconsin, well u get the picture. I will not give any names, but I like to think we made some life long friends. I hope they feel the same way about us (LOL). I think we exchanged e-mails and phone numbers with 15 couples.

The single men we met with 2 exceptions, were great also. We even “hooked up” with one of them. One guy grabbed Lisa by the prude bar and I had to “remove” him from her. Another guy got a little too pushy with Lisa in the hot tub and she had to “politely” tell him to move away.

 

Sex

The sex was, well, awesome. We are swingers and went down there looking for fun with other couples. Let me say that while we did have plenty of sex with a few different couples and a single and yes, even a staff member, we made many non-sexual friends.

We were involved in 2 foursomes, 2 threesomes and a sixsome (if there is such a word). There was plenty of “playing” going on at the nude hot tub (late night mostly). All out in the open, some we were involved in, others we weren’t involved in. No one was pushy or rude or raunchy. It was actually very sexy to watch and be involved. One couple invited us to a gangbang in their room. Although we didn’t attend, we were given a lot of details and heard we missed a fun time.

We met plenty of couples that did not swing and had just as much fun with them. We ate dinner every night with a couple that didn’t swing.

 

In conclusion

Far and away the best vacation we ever had. Everyone is naked and no one judges any one. There were all shapes and sizes, from the skinny to the not so skinny (me) and all ages, from the young to the more experienced (we are in the middle at 38). I must say that we are very upset to have had to leave, but forever grateful for the time we did have there. We will definitely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, be returning. We are planning it now. I am writing this after shoveling 2 feet of snow on my first day home. You can only imagine where I want to be.
