Nick & Jessica - January, 2005

1st trip to Hedo III January 13-20, 2005 -Jessica and Nick

We were so excited about this trip.  It was the first one we had been on in a long time and we never had been to a place like Hedo.  I was a little anxious at first about being Naked in front of people and was wondering what I had gotten myself into. I got on the message board here and on one other site and met alot of really cool people before I left.  I would highly recommend this to anyone else going to Hedo.  It is great to know people when you get there.
The trip was basically the same as everyone else's.  Crazy drive from the airport.  One thing that really bothered me, more so than the actual drive, was that a man pestered us the entire drive to the hotel to buy drugs from him.  We said no thank you, no thank you, but he just kept on going and it drove us crazy.  I came prepared with some vodka and cranberry juice because it was night and they didn't make the beer stop.  I figured that I would have to be drunk if I was actually going to get naked. We finally got the guy to leave us alone about 5 minutes before we got to the hotel.

We checked in with no problems.  The hotel looked really nice and it was toga night and things were starting up right when we got there.  We went to the bar and then to the room to change and headed out to the nude pool.  We met up with our internet friends Kris (Julie the Cruise Director) and Amanda.  It wasn't that bad to be naked because everyone else is, so it's no big deal.  We all decided that we were going to go try the slide so the 4 of us headed over.  IT WAS AWESOME!!!  You have to try it naked at least once when you go.
The week at the hotel is great.  We spent alot of time at the quad pool and hot tub.  I found that it wasn't nearly as crowded over there, most of the time.  The hot tub can get crazy at times but this is mainly at night.  I think that I saw 4 people at the main pool the whole time, which is too bad because it is a really nice pool.  The trapeze wasn't open at all until the day before I left which was disapointing because I really wanted to try it.  The only other complaint that I have about the resort is that the food is awful. But the staff especially Clayton the bartender and Michael the bellman, are awesome and so friendly.

All in all, the trip was GREAT!!!  I can't wait to go back to Jamaica.  Would I go back to Hedo III again?  Maybe.  I definitely want to try Hedo II or Grand Lido next time to see what the differences are.  It was a really fun trip and I met some really fun people.
