Tom & Gabrielle - February, 2004

Gabrielle & Tom February 9-13 2004

Well, let's just start off by saying what a wonderful place Hedonism III is. Initially, upon booking this trip back in November we were a little nervous....but that turned into excitement with buying outfits, emailing couples who had gone before, and the weather here getting colder-we were now not nervous-we were anxious to be there.

Arrival:     Our arrival via USAir into Montego Bay was on-time. Once through customs, we were greeted by our vacation rep who was to take us to our bus designated for Hedo III. Once on the bus, it took about 30 min. with barely any a/c to depart. However, once moving-the windows could be opened and it was a nice breeze. Now, for the ride on the jamaican buses..........all I can say is "HOLD ON FOR DEAR LIFE"!  They are fast and not cautious at all-but, 2 hours later we are safe and sound at the Hedonism III lobby.

Check in was fine-we were able to request a quad pool view room-which coincidentally was near several couples we met online and through our yahoo group. Once un-packed we changed and rushed down to the main bar. There we met these other couples-and may I say the 'YaHedos' are awesome!! I do recommend joining a group or getting in contact with people off the dennyp site that are traveling when you are-it's nice to get there and know people you can socialize with.

After some immediate 'Purple Rains' and 'Dirty Bananas' (yes, I know....but we were in a tropical, can't believe were here mood) we were offered a short tour of the facilities by some other people. Great tour-got to the nude pool side and everyone just dropped down and got naked into the jacuzzi. Needless to say, I needed a few more drinks so my clothes stayed on.........temporarily folks!

Food:     The food is ok in the main dining area. Breakfast is best, with the 'omelet bar'-yummy! The scotch bonnett-no big deal there. A pleasant surprise is the Nude Grill!! Go figure! The burgers are moist, frys hot, drinks cold! What else do you want in life? The service is better too-Ok, Pastafari-definately worth it! Looking back now, we should have eaten there more. Munasan's was just ok-didn't personally settle right with me......and let's see, Lobster grill in the main dining area Tuesday was good.

So, if anyone is wondering-yes, by Day 2 it was off to the nude pool-OFF CAME THE CLOTHES!........and I never looked back. Wednesday was great-the nude pool took over the prude pool in volleyball and body shots-fun! fun! To Sarah, thank you for assisting in the pussy fountain game! Sorry Sam-you were scheduling Scuba-haha! Also-if you are open-minded and crazy after too many 'Blue Hawaiians'-may I suggest taking part in the 'HUMAN ICE CREAM SUNDAE' - definately fun and delicious!
Snorkling was awesome! Scuba Diving was scary-but once you do it, it's a blast! The teacher and other divers that went were soooooo helpful to me and Tom the whole time!
Toga night was fun! The piano bar is a little cheesy without drinks in you-although I'm a big sucker for cheesy humor and bad singing. The disco is ok-we like to dance our hearts out, but not sure if we do EVERY night. Would be nice if they added a beach party downstairs or something else late at night for a change up.
All in all-the women that were in our yahoo group-Hi there! You were all so nice and so beautiful!

To Dominique and Guy-kisses the 'right way', Chris and Becky thank you for showing us our 1st night there, Amy and Pete (or Nick & Jessica as I like to call you both), you both were so sweet-congrats on your upcoming 1 year anniversary and Amy-"Everyday is Sundae day". Kim & Rick-thank you for listening to my prudish stance the 1st day-you were right-jump in!! Sam & Sarah-we loved meeting you both, enjoyed our snorkling and scuba adventures! Anthony & Mary-to the 'Original New Yorkers'-what a blast to meet you both and hang out at the pool and at dinner!

Everyone was very helpful, it was a no pressure atmosphere-with great sun, fun and lovely people! As for the PDA's? Well-I personally missed them at night-but some some action in the grotto nude pool area-Oops! That was us. Seriously, this resort is fine for the prudish and the wild! One suggestion is the Quad pool should be turned into the Nude Pool-the prude side is wasted and it's the nicest area too. Oh well!
We will be going back and hopefully our yahoo group will do this next year! Keep an open mind and your trip will be awesome.
