Sam & Angelika - January, 2004

WOW, what a place.  Angelika and I were married last August, and this trip was our honeymoon.  This was our first time to Hedo, and Angelika will admit, she was quite nervous.  Well that lasted about 15 minutes after checking into our room.  We arrived at the resort January 18th at about 2pm. our room was ready, and George carried our bags to the 3rd floor of the 300 Bldg. in the Quad.  We loved the room’s bright colors, large garden tub and king size bed. On the ceiling above the bed is a large mirror.  This was a real trip. I think they got it from a circus fun house.  If you lay on the right side of the bed, you looked like a whale. If you lay in the middle, you looked like a toothpick. We both had a lot of fun with the mirrors, both over the bed and above the garden tub.  In front of the tub were two full length windows that opened up into the Quad.  We found this to be very entertaining at around 5pm when a lot of people were taking showers to get ready for dinner.  As we showered with the windows open, we noticed that most other people did the same.

We spent the whole week on the nude side.  Our first day was spent by the nude pool, with our good friends Jeff and Bert, just watching the activities.  To our surprise even though it was suppose to be a popular week for swingers (which we are not) it was very comfortable.  No pressure at all, we felt at ease participating at what ever level we wanted or just sit back and watch.  By the second day we were on the pussy fountain doing body shots.  That’s where we met so many wonderful people.

Jim and Gina (the mayor and first lady)

Ritch and Sandy (Sandy initiated the chocolate syrup at the pussy fountain, Yum Yum)

Rod and Mary (you’ve got to hear Mary sing The Rose)

Charlie and Suzanne (our Australian friends from down under)

Mike and Sandy (see you at the Apple dance)

Drew and Marcia (it was great to meet you)

There were so many more, but I’m terrible at remembering names.  All these wonderful people made our vacation better than we ever expected.

The EC’s set up a lot of fun activities. One was the wet t-shirt contest. Angelika was nominated (thanks Mary) for this event.  We grabbed her short shirt and headed for the stage, only to find it lined up with guys, camera in hand.  Way too many cameras for us, so we headed back to the nude pool.  Thankfully we did, because when we got home and started reading the message board, we found out someone was posting Hedo Wet T-Shirt pictures on a voyeur site.

We left the resort one day for about an hour. We took a taxi down the street to Breezes (boring).  This is where we told the kids, parents and co-workers we were staying. We walked around the resort taking pictures, then jumped in a taxi back to Hedo as fast as we could.

We thought the food was good at Scotch Bonnet Grill, Pastafari and Munasan. The dining room food was typical buffet style food.  Something to suit every taste is available.  A few things we didn’t like; the nude side is definitely too small, especially compared to the prude side.  The Wally’s and Vinnie’s were very annoying, especially those with the KROCK group.  The clear part of the slide that goes thru the Disco was disappointing, as people slide down you couldn’t even tell that a body went by.  The slide thru the disco was really hyped-up for nothing.  The slide itself was fun, especially when one afternoon the entire nude side invaded the prude side and we all went down the slide one after another.

Reading the trip reports and message board, really helped prepare us for this trip.  We didn’t over pack and felt we had everything we needed.
