December 10-17th (our first trip to Hedo III)
Pat & Tammy (Western Canada)
I promised myself before we left on our
trip that I would write a trip report upon our return. I know how
valuable reading other reports was to us. In fact, we likely wouldn’t
have gone to Hedo at all if we didn’t have this forum to address our questions
and concerns (thanks to all of you and especially to Denny!). This is
also why we decided to book our trip through Denny, which by the way was very
well organized.
Our flight left at 12:30 am, out of
Edmonton and flew direct to Toronto. Three and a half hours later we
landed in Toronto only to wait another four hours before our flight departed
to Montego Bay. I, as always, had no problem dosing off in the airport
while Pat watched some of the overhead TV. All of a sudden a guy
approaches us (who was also on our flight from
Edmonton) and makes the usual small talk then asks where we were headed.
We tell him Hedo III and he says “I knew it!” Okay, so now I’m a
little freaked out! Do Hedonites have a
certain look? Anyway, after we tell him where we’re going
he then tells us that he and his wife are going to
Hedo II…what are the chances? We chatted with them for the duration of
our layover, which really helped to pass the time. We soon wished we
were both going to the same resort as they seemed like a great couple. We
exchanged addresses and promised to get together after we got back to exchange
stories/pictures.
After a delayed takeoff and another 4 ½
hour flight, we finally arrived in Montego Bay at 3:30 pm. We then headed
straight to the Superclubs lounge which wasn’t
hard to find. Once there we waited (are you starting to see a pattern?)
another 30 minutes then headed outside to the bus. I stopped to
get two Red Stripes for the road…after all we’re FINALLY here after 15+ hours
of air travel and waiting in airports! After waiting another 20 minutes
or so, we’re finally off. We stopped half way for another Red Stripe
then continued on, finally arriving at the resort around 6:00 pm. I
didn’t find the drive to the resort too scary, just long.
As we’re walking to the front desk to
check in, the first people we see are two couples from our Yahoo Group –
Robert & Angela and Curt & Rumi. We exchange
hugs and are immediately handed a drink…not sure what it was, but it was
mighty tasty! We grabbed another drink and they escorted us on a tour
through the resort to help us get our bearings (however purposely avoiding the
nude hot tub area after R&A’s experience the night
before – thanks guys!) Somewhere along the
way we stopped in to check out our room. It was on the 3rd
floor in the quad area directly above the hot tub. It was just fine. The
next thing I remember was dancing in the cage at the disco…hmm, not sure what
we did for dinner, or, if we even had dinner. Anyway, it was a lot of
fun dancing and we managed to meet many more people from our group throughout
the evening, who unfortunately, would be leaving the next day. We did
eventually end up at the nude hot tub after the disco and the funny thing is I
was surprised at how easy I shed (OK, ripped off) my clothes. Listen
people, IT REALLY IS NO BIG DEAL! And I had never been nude in public
before. A GREAT first night with our new friends! We
called it a night around 4ish.
I’m not going to continue with a day by
day journal but I will provide you with some highlights/lowlights of our
one-week stay at Hedo 3:
Highlights
- Spending time with my hubby.
Rekindling the spark, only to start a raging fire… “Baby, you
Da Mon!”
- Meeting so many people on-line before
the trip. And being greeted upon arrival in the lobby by some of these
new friends was truly a great feeling!
- The Diving. I’m a novice diver
but I was pleasantly surprised at how healthy the reef was and how
professional and accommodating the dive staff was.
- Being Nude. Okay so I really liked it.
- The trapeze. Even though this
scared the shit out of me, it was an amazing experience that I will NEVER
forget. The circus staff were all very
professional yet fun. I still can’t get over the size of Jay’s (get
your minds out of the gutter people) quads.
- Meeting Playboy porn stars
Juli Ashton and Evan Stone. They are both
great people who were very approachable and friendly…admittedly not what we
were expecting from some Los Angeles types (no offense intended to anyone
from LA). I think Evan really had a hard time keeping his pants on,
though!
Lowlights
- The lengthy flights and layovers in the
airports. But hard to avoid regardless of where one travels, so
“Whatever… that’s cool”.
- Pat falling into the pool. He
thought he had a few scrapes and bruises, only to find out three days later
that he could barely walk. He got a major infection that the resort
nurse couldn’t do anything about. They had to call in a Doctor from
off the resort, and Pat had to get a shot in the ass and take antibiotics.
Not to worry though, after being home 5 days the wounds are healing and he
only has a lingering ache in his knee. All this for being his usual
considerate self and bringing someone a cocktail (which by the way he
managed to save even though he was fully submerged under water)…you’re
welcome Fred!
- The beach. This wasn’t a real big
deal either because we weren’t expecting much.
- The temperature of the Quad hot tub.
Rarely was it ever a comfortable temperature to spend time in… either too
cold or way too hot.
- The occupancy of the resort. I
think if there was a higher occupancy there may have been more scheduled
activities by the entertainment staff. At times I felt like they too
were on vacation. Again, it wasn’t a real concern as we created our
own fun.
- Not having our time overlap with more
of our Yahoo group friends. Maybe next time we can coordinate dates
better.
- The smell from all of the bars was
really bad. They all need a thorough scrub down with bleach.
Funny/Interesting Observations
- A girl rushing into to the washroom,
hiking up her dress, tilting her pelvis in front of the mirror and
re-screwing the ball of her clit piercing! I still can’t figure out
how she actually found it after it came off!
- Giving Pat a body shot only to look up
and see a ‘clothed’ Larry staring right at me! No worries though, 5
minutes later he too was naked and in the hot tub!
- The mirror above the bed. It
distorted our bodies in some really bizarre ways!
- Robert REALLY liking the nude thing…hey
I think we all did, but if given the option I’m sure Robert would have never
put his clothes on for the entire week – you go mon!
- The last few days I managed to put my
foot in my mouth several times…thanks to Dan and Kim for always being there
to point it out. It’s all good.
- Watching a couple of the porn stars
going at it in the hot tub by the disco and me saying to no one in
particular; ‘I feel like a pervert’. Then this guy tells me that’s
good, that’s exactly how you’re supposed to feel, it’s the ‘right’ emotion.
I’m still not sure how to take that… is feeling like a pervert an emotion?
I must have had too many cocktails.
- The English girl on the stilts…wow, her
costumes were amazing!
- Me, being able to remember names.
This was quite uncharacteristic of me, yet while at Hedo, I adopted this
uncanny memory for names. I wonder how long it will
last?
Our New Friends
- Kevin & Christine – you guys were a
blast! I’m sorry we didn’t get to spend more time with you.
Christine, I think we could have gotten into a whole lot of trouble
together. ;o)
- Curt & Rumi
– you were both wonderful! Again, wish we would have had more time
together! And Curt…thanks again for arranging to get us some Playboy
swag – who knew you had so many connections? You’re awesome!
- Nathan & Cristina – We didn’t have much
time to get to know you guys, but it was sure
nice having dinner with you at Munasan.
And thank you, thank you, once again for
establishing the Yahoo group!
- Lori & Glen – Glen, my dive buddy,
congrats again on your certification. It was sure nice being able to
share our diving experiences. Lori, sweet Lori, you were always so cheerful
and such a pleasure to be around!
- Mark & Beth – We were always looking
forward to seeing what Beth would be wearing to dinner and then to the disco
– girl, you are definitely a hottie!
Mark, thanks for introducing us to the dice game…
our favorite dice game is very different, and somehow all of a sudden, very
boring. ;o)
- Dan & Kim – Dan, your witty sense of
humor (land shark attack!) was just great. And Kim, you were always
bubbly and smiling no matter what the situation – you have a great outlook
on life. You guys are 2 KEWL
!
- Amber & Bill – Amber, you are one
persistent girl, not to mention damn hot! Thanks for always putting a
smile on my face (and no, you didn’t scare me!). Bill, thanks for all
the great hot tub conversations (yes, some people DO talk in the hot tub!)
and just being an all-around nice guy.
- Larry & Cathy – It was great meeting
you both… but we sure wish you had arrived earlier and been able to spend
more time with the group! Larry, you are truly an inspiration - keep
writing, and when you’re rich & famous, don’t forget us! Cathy, it was
fun dancing and partying with you! I’m still amazed you were as loaded
as you were…you could have fooled me. Then again, maybe I was just as
loaded! I hope you both enjoyed the rest of your vacation.
- Ellie & Jamie – Although we only had
one evening and half the next day with you, we were both truly sad to see
you go. We really hit it off and sure hope the next time you make it
back to Western Canada you look us up!
- Bonnie & Jim (aka
Santa Claus) – our next door neighbors at the resort… you are such a
fun-loving couple, who have an awesome attitude. But Jim, I’m afraid
I’ll never be able to look at Santa quite the same again!
- Stephanie & Doug – It was great fun
spending some time and playing pool volleyball with you guys.
Steph, you’re quite the fireball - thanks for
your support on the Trapeze. You really know how to inspire!
- Jay & Dr. Lynn (CW) – It was so fun
meeting and spending time with you guys, too. I’ll always remember you
two as being the first to set a record on the Aqua Rocker -- three couples,
very impressive! Maybe one day it’ll become an Olympic event and you guys
will bring home the Gold! And Jay, if we ever see you WITHOUT a big smile on
your face, we know the world is coming to an end… you are one happy guy!
And last, but far, far from least…
- Robert (Pat’s Dreadlock Brother) and
Angela – what more can we say that hasn’t already been said either in emails
or face-to-face…. you know how we feel about you two. We have no doubts
that we will stay in touch with you for a long, long time. On behalf
of the Yahoo Group, thank you both for everything you did to inspire and
solidify the group prior to everyones vacations.
Thanks to everyone for helping make our
first visit to Hedo a huge success – we had a great time! We likely won’t
return to Hedo any time soon (mostly due to flight distance and the fact that
there are so many others places to go) but we’d love to keep in touch with as
many of you as possible. Feel free to e-mail us anytime at:

Happy Holidays to you all!
Hugs,
Pat & Tammy
