Mark & Michelle - November, 2003

Trip date:  11/20/03 - 11/30/03

This was our first trip to H3, but it won't be our last!!  We had originally booked BRB, and planned a day or night visit to H3, but after reading many trip reports and posts, we decided that H3 was really the place for us!  We were not disappointed.  The accommodations were good, the food was excellent, the staff (and guest!) entertainment was superb!!

We (I) were very nervous about getting nekkid in front of other people, but I kept reading that it was great, at least after the first few minutes.  Mark wasn't worried, or so he said.  I really planned on spending at least the beginning at the CO side.  Topless has never been a problem for me.  We arrived very late at night, and went to the quad jacuzzi that first night.  I was only there for a few minutes before my top was off.  The next morning, we again went to the Quad pool.  But there was NOBODY there!  So I got my nerve up to go to the nude beach.  We went to the very far side, on the pier.  As far away as I could get from all of the perfect bodies...I was only there for a short time before I realized my mistake.  There were extremely few "perfect" bodies.  Some were better than me, and some were worse than me...and they were having all of the fun up at the pool!!  So we grabbed our towels, got another drink, and joined the party!!  I have to say, the people that go to H3 are wonderful!  We almost instantly made some great new friends.  We made more friends in one week at H3 than we have in four cruises!

Throughout the week, we participated in several activities.  We are both certified divers, and we went on eight dives.  Some were better than others, as with all dives.  But the water sport staff was great!!  Again, we made some great friends with the other divers.  We usually all got together after the dives and went to the Scotch Bonnet to talk about the dives, eat lunch, and most importantly, time to start drinking!  Then, to the nude pool to rest, relax, and party!

The EC's were great.  They really worked hard to ensure that all of the guests felt included.  We watched a few of the party games, participated in a few, and WON a few!!  I am still not sure if that was great, or some of our most embarrassing moments!  But we cannot wait to get back for more!

We ate at all of the restaurants.  Munihana was our favorite.  There always seemed to be a good group of people at our tables.  Pastafari was good also.  I really loved the antipasti bar.  We ate at the Nudie Grill on the days we didn't dive, and I really liked their fries!!  The breakfast buffet always had a great selection of both traditional and local selections, and the omelet chef was great.
We really liked the all inclusive aspect, as you don't have to keep up with your money, or keep track of your budget.  In fact you don't really have to keep track of anything, because if you lose your room key, they can get you in!

All in all, this was the best vacation we've ever taken together.  And we have taken quite a few!
