Hedonism III
October 23 - 31, 2004
This was our 9th visit to Hedo III. The last time we were there we pretty much thought that we would not return but that thought didn’t last very long. There is truly no other place like Hedo III. When we are asked by friends who have never been there what it is like we always tell them it is an Adult Playground. It can be as wild or as mild as you wish. You control the fun level. People visit Hedo III for different reasons and you are bound to find someone who is there for the same reason you are.
Transportation
We flew Air Jamaica as in the past and did not encounter any major
problems. Surprisingly customs was not very busy so we got through real fast.
For the first time we decided to check our bags which was a mistake. We
noticed that one of the bags had been opened so we gave a quick look to see if
anything had been disturbed. At the time we didn’t notice anything missing but
when we checked into our room at the hotel we discovered that a bottle of
prescription medicine was missing. After bitching out Air Jamaica and N.T.S.
we got no where. Air Jamaica said that prescription medications do not
supposed to be placed in check in luggage. I asked why and they didn’t have an
answer. I guess doing so tempts their dishonest employees. The end result was
a ride in to town to visit a doctor, by the way Doctors in Jamaica work on
Saturday and get the prescription filled.
Check in
Our room was ready upon our arrival. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade
but we declined. We stayed in room 234 in the Quad. The only thing we would do
different is to stay on the second or first floor. We used to enjoy the stair
climbing but on this trip it really became a pain. The room was clean but
showed use. Cracked floor tiles, shower not working properly and the smoke
detector kept going off. The biggest problem was the lack of hot water. We
heard several people complain about this. This was the first time that we had
experienced this problem. Other than that everything was fine.
Weather
The weather was fine with lots of sunshine and the occasional thin clouds
that would roll through. The pool on the nude side was much colder than the
quad pool. Don’t know why but it is.
Nude Pool
The crowd at the nude pool was very quite with little PDA occurring. The
Wild Bunch was there and made for several fun afternoons. One memorable
afternoon occurred when the group raided the Quad pool. From a top the
buildings a surprise water balloon attack took place followed by a barrage of
tennis balls. I think everyone had fun.
Each afternoon the entertainment coordinators did their best to get the crowd going with trivia contests, body shots and slide runs.
Sexual Activities
There were several lifestyle couples present but we thought that there
would be many more. If you are interested in meeting a couple make a
reservation for 4 at Pastafaris and invite the couple. We have had success in
doing so.
We did not go to the hot tub at night. It just seems to crowded. Every time we go there it looks like the hot tub gets smaller. So if you are wondering if there was any action in or around the hot tub you will have to read someone else’s trip report. Our thought is why wait until 2:00 A.M. to have fun? Get an earlier start so you can get your rest. (lol)
The disco was a lot of fun this time around. The music was a good mix and people seemed to enjoy it. There were lots of lovely ladies shaking their things on the bar and so on
In closing we are glad that we have made some new friends and hope to stay in contact with them like all the others that we have met over the years. If you have any questions please feel free to write us at
