Hi Denny, In a nutshell I had a great time, but wish there were
clubs like Hedo in other places of interest like New Zealand, Costa Rica,
South America, Europe and such. An issue with Jamaica? Hardly!
There's just sooooooo many places to visit on a working woman's budget, I
can't imagine returning to the same place on the planet the record
17 times "Walter" told me he'd been there.
Staff went out of their way to assist me from the front desk
(when I thought I locked myself out within the 1st hour), to tour desk (sorry
Dyan, the Dolphin Cove swim was magnificent!) to the housekeeping and I admit,
I tipped her just as I would any housekeeper. I even helped her make the
bed once....
The single men I encountered were of many disciplines from the
very shy, to outright obnoxious and all shades thereof. No one male or
female guest was outright foul but then I did not venture out past 0130 AM no
matter how hard I tried so I probably missed the bawdiest behavior. However,
as a swinger who likes her sex sober, I assure you I did not go without.
The food was above average buffet fare but I was underwhelmed
by Pastafari and specifically Munsan who's wait staff never offered an
alternative drink when our party was informed due to storms, Jamaica was now
out of the fruit ingredient for "Dirty Banana" drinks. Nor did they
return with offering of desserts. They just kinda left us hanging so we
finally made a group decision, up and left back to the Dining Hall where they
were serving up flambe desserts. Pastafari I'm told is moved to Scotch
Bonnet during restorations as of this week.
The atmosphere is understandably heady. Sadly the waters
too choppy for all but PADI certified divers to venture out. Safety
first after all. My snorkel gear never got wet. Did manage a glass
bottom boat ride. Aside from the heavy diesel exhaust, a fun spin!
My favorite spot was just soaking up hours of ocean viewing from the
wedding gazebo as new friends stopped by.
I heard a rumor a couple was booking there for months at a
time. That other couples go twice a year and then there's Walter and his
17 trips. Again, all the things I love, sex, buffets and ocean but with so
much of the world to see, I just wish Superclubs would expand the concept all
over this lovely world of ours... Blessings!
