This was our first trip to Hedo III and it was a wonderful trip. We hit right during spring break (which we planned) so we could be around more people our age. We also hoped spring break would bring people with younger, slimmer bodies and we were not disappointed. Couldn’t have asked for better weather.
The food was great. The Japanese and Italian restaurants were outstanding. The midnight buffet at 3am was great every night! The food at the nude pool was also very pleasing.
Our room was nice. We went with "Run of the House" because the price difference afforded us to stay about 1&½ weeks. We knew we wouldn't be spending much time in our room so we did care where it was. We overlooked the quad pool on the second floor closest to the nude side. Taking open air showers every morning was extremely sensual.
Back to my comment about younger slimmer bodies… As I said before, this was our first trip. We really didn’t want to be surrounded by a sea of people that let their bodies go. It’s not sexy. We were very pleased with the mix, although there were some directions you really didn’t want to look. Couples and singles our age and body type seemed to gravitate towards us and us to them during the day at the nude pool. The nude pool was ALWAYS packed. To get a chair, one of us got out of bed about 8am to lay out our towels, cups, etc. I can’t tell you the number of times we and many others said the quad and nude pool should switch because the nude side is so small. Activities during the day on the nude side were always fun.
We walked over to the prude side a few times just to check out what was going on. The prude beach was nicely laid out. There were quite a few spring breakers that only ventured to the nude side the last few days of their trips. Once they realized it’s really not a big deal they all said they shouldn’t have been scared to cross over. You can walk around the property topless, but must be covered to eat in any of the restaurants.
The water sports facility and crew were awesome! The scuba diving was amazing. The crew brought a cooler of fresh, and I mean fresh, fruit which was delicious after each dive. All of the sporting gear was cared for and activities were given with great instruction and safety. The gym was small, but nice and always very cool.
Our nightly routine started with dinner at 9pm. We’d usually watch the show in the main dining room about 10pm, then sometimes the piano bar at 11pm. We went to the disco every night and dressed up for each theme. We take great pride in our bodies and appearance and loved dressing up in sexy costumes. I’ll never forget opening the disco doors on the Sexy Lingerie Night and seeing the place packed like sardines with a bunch of women stuffed into stalkings and teddies. I felt like my parents were going to pop out of the crowd! The disco usually got good about 2am. The older crowd cleared out and the younger crowd and the ECs closed the disco down about 4-5am. The earliest we ever fell asleep was 5am, the latest was 8:30am.
There wasn’t all that much PDA. It was pretty much as everyone else has stated. There were a few couples that put on shows for all to see but for the most part everyone was discrete during the day. The night was a different story and it truly is what you make it. Overall I thought the nude side at night was a little sad. It was packed with people that wanted to hook up with other couples so bad it was depressing. Not that we are against hooking up. We took a more casual approach. It we were attracted to another couple we let things develop during the day and through the evening then went back to a room, not to a lawn chair. We also would go to the quad hot tub with other couples before things got too heated. No one was ever there. We did meet some truly sexy, fun, outstanding people that we enjoyed sharing our time and bodies with.
We tipped EVERYONE. I had conversations with guests during the day regarding tipping. Some would say that they paid enough just to be there and wouldn’t tip. The Hedo III employees worked their asses off and some live in shacks. We felt like tipping was only right. Our maid left fresh flowers in our room. We tipped the bartenders every night at the disco and we NEVER waited for a drink. They would watch us and as soon as we approached the bar our drink of choice would be waiting.
I can not say enough to complement the ECs. They have beautiful bodies and great personalities. Especially Romeo.
One bit of advise I can give would be to talk about limitations/expectations before you get to Hedo III. We met several couples that had a miserable time because of alcohol induced choices. The environment is so charged that mixing alcohol, sexy costumes, dancing and attractive people could put you in a position (no pun intended) that feels so good that night, but terrible the next morning. If you don't have a strong relationship this is not the trip for you.
Would we return? I’m not sure. We had one of the best vacations of our lives there, but there are so many other places in the world waiting for us. For an adult vacation this is definitely the place to go.
