Thanks to this message board we knew just what to expect as this was our first
trip to Hedo.
We landed at Mobay at 1130a and opted for the Chartered flight. What a waste of
money!!! Dont do it. It's 180.00 per couple, if two couples go, or 360.00 for
just one couple. All advertisements I saw about this say it's a ten minute
flight, and a five minute ride from the grass strip you land on near Hedo. What
a bunch of B.S. By the time that they got our luggage, loaded it up, took off
and landed, off loaded luggage, and took us to the resort, we beat a couple in
front of us at Mobay getting on the bus by less than thirty minutes. The flight
took 25 minutes and the bus ride from the grass strip was more like 15. Not to
metion one of the pilots slept the whole way there and the other pilot couldnt
get him up. I reached up grabbed his seatbelt and yanked it a couple of times to
get him up.
Got there at about 130 the room of course wasnt ready(there again thanks to this
web site i knew that might happen so that was no problem). We got in the room at
like 330 and it was very nice. Room 631 i think, second floor directly over the
nude pool.
The staff i found to be nice. The drinks were o.k. ussally too strong for me. I
like red strip in the bottle, but it was nasty out of the tap. The food was
good, not great or above aveage, but good. The grounds and overall cleanlyness
was very good. The water sports equipment was in great shape. The scuba
instructor was wonderful(ann marie) if you have never been certified or are
scared about going she is great.
For first time goer's i will say to you in my opion, if your not swingers, go
somewhere else for your money. Hedo was nice, but too much for what it is. The
Kink of the Carribbean took over the place the whole week, and it was crazy. We
left two days early and spent the rest of our time at thier sister club (at no
addition charge) Grande Lido Braco. Wow, what a wonderful place compared to
Hedo, much larger, nicer, better food, they have a nude side that is way better
than Hedo. The beaches were much much larger, and the servered Miller Light!
Grande Lido was twice the resort as Hedo.
