July 12 - July 18
This is my 2nd trip
to H3, but 1st as a single.
My flight out of JFK was uneventful. Arrived at the airport at 12:30. I was very
nicely escorted to my bus and a very full one at that. I was worried about the
road conditions and they were about what I expected. Being that this was a large
bus it was a slow ride. Did the usual beer stop and on our way very slowly.
Stopped at Breezes and the crowds got off leaving only 7 of us. The party has
now begun.
Now it's about 3:30. Long ride.
Check-in would have been a breeze, but they didn't have my room available. I
booked a single/share poolfront during the freedom fares. They asked me to come
back in an hour. This was no problem for me. I went to the Scotch Bonnet to get
some jerk chicken and then off to the nude pool. Almost forgot to go back to the
desk to get my room.
I was still put in the quad, but poolview. This was fine also. And I didn't have
a roommate. Only one bed which also was fine.
Got myself situated and started looking for the many people I have been in touch
with thru Denny's site. Found almost everyone in the nude pool. As expected, we
all had become friends quickly.
The days and nights all seem to blend together. Each day and night were fun and
exciting.
The food was good, especially at Munahanna's. This is the best place for dinner.
Make your reservations when you get there. They book up quickly.
The entertainment was fabulous. These people have so much energy. Ice, Spike,
Romeo, Sweetness and the rest need to be commended.
The staff there makes every effort to make your stay a perfect one. I loved my
housekeeper, Carletta. What a beautiful woman. I spent some time talking with
her while she was cleaning my room. She thought I was too neat. Go figure.
Glen, my favorite piano man. Oh Shit. Okie Dokie. You are the best. Thanks for
my private piano night.
I think the best part about Hedo is the people. We all become much nicer people
when we get there. I have made so many new friends again.
Tom and Bonnie, Don and Linda, John and Lynne it was great to meet you all.
Ted and Nancy, sorry I missed you on my last night. You two were so great.
Thanks for always making sure I was OK. I love you both. Maybe next time, huh?
Joanne, you're crazy. What a lot of energy you have. I'll be talking to you
soon.
Kelly, It was too much fun. You are one of a kind. I'll always remember the main
bar and the lack of beer, because they kept running out. LOL. "Suck my drink"
The Gorton's Fisherman, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.
And my favorite time was running thru the pouring rain to get a grilled cheese
and fries at the nude grill. And not to forget running across the tarmac to
catch our plane.

Drenda and Kim, I love you two. What a terrific couple. You two had the best
outfits on each and everyday. Hedo Hawaii huh?
