Third Hedo Trip – April 11 – 15th
The trip down was the usual except the bus ride took 3 hours. It was raining really hard, and due to some weak bladders, we made three stops. My husband and our friend bought lots of beer before we left so most of the ride was a blur. We traveled with our friends Jim and Cheryl, and this was their first trip to Hedo 3.
We were upgraded to a room in Building 6 – which was actually the same room we had two years ago on our first trip. I love that room. It was like going back home again!
As usual, the first day is a complete and utter blur for us. The parts we do remember were great though! When we got down to the nude pool, we found people there we had met the last two times we were there. It’s so great to see the same people again; kind of like a nude reunion! There was much drinking then passing out, then drinking eating and passing out again. We pretty much followed that routine for the next 3 days.
The crowd was really subdued the 5 days we were there. Even the EC’s were laying low. I had to take it upon myself to introduce some newbies to the beauty of rum cream and body shots, and I became the “Body Shot Queen”. There were some PDA occurrences (all of which my husband missed), but for the most part the crowd was very quiet. We did, however, finally get to do a naked slide run! During our previous two trips, we never did the slide! The first time one woman acted as cheerleader and got all of us to go over there, but the next day an EC took us over - but he made us wear towels as we walked over! There’s no fun in that! Both times we went there were all of maybe two people at the prude side (except for some people eating in the main dining room)! I swear everyone at the resort was at the nude side. I kept wanting to go over the prude side during the afternoon just to see how many people actually hang out over there, but for some reason drinking and being naked makes you very lazy. We’re also afraid that if you get up and leave, you might miss something good!
The weather was good during the day, but it rained everyday in the afternoon and into the evening, which ruined the Grand Gala and the Beach Party. It had to be held in the main dining room, which was way too crowded to hold everyone. But it was still fun. We got dressed up for the Gala night (I wore a black spandex dress that could be folded down to a skirt, and had sparkly pasties on underneath & Jim wore black silk pants and a shiny shirt). We didn’t participate in most of the theme nights in the disco though. Most nights ended in the hot tub. We were all so tired from partying so hard during the day that we just crashed in the evenings!
We keep thinking these trips can’t get any better than the last, but they always do! We made some really great friends again this time. There were 5 couples all together. We all hung out (literally) together most of the time and ate meals together and laughed our butts off! Kathy & Steve, Lisa and Al (aka “Fat Bastard”), Julie & Mike, Jim & Cheryl – you were the greatest group of people to hang out with. Naked hugs to all!
We will be going back in September, and hopefully some of our friends, new and old, will be going again too. Can’t wait – counting down the days….
