Hedonism III May 20 - 27, 2003

We just got back in this morning after another fun filled vacation at Hedo III.  Although
we are very tired, we are forcing ourselves to write this report while we remember all of
the details.  So here goes....

We had a change in travel plans and actually arrived in Jamaica on May 18th, two days
prior to our Hedo III visit.  We stayed at the Trelawny Starfish Resort for two nights.  The
Starfish was nice but definitely not Hedo III.  We will mention that they have a very nice
island to sunbathe on and even a very small area on the main beach for au natural.  We
mostly spent our time in the room practicing for Hedo (wink) and then hanging out in the
lobby watching our watches.  We were counting down the time to leave for Hedo III.  We
did the polite thing, we waited until 8:00 a.m. and checked out.  We immediately
negotiated a taxi to drive us to Hedo III, which was about a half hour drive.  By the way,
the roads are still under construction but when finished, will greatly decrease the drive
time.

We arrived at Hedo III by private taxi, walked up to the counter and checked in.  It was a
breeze.  Our room was ready, 334.  Green building in the quad.  We have visited Hedo III
several times and have never stayed in the quad.  We prefer the buildings along the beach
and never thought about staying in the quad.  So, we looked at it as an adventure.  Now
you are probably reading this trip report as a first timer looking for some information to
make a decision or you are a repeater looking for more sex talk.  If you are the latter, then
you have to wait a few (wink).

Each building has its good points and bad.  The good points about the quad is that you
can look across at the other rooms and watch the show or you can be the show.  It is kind
of like that Alfred Hitchcock movie......ah never mind we can’t remember the name of it.
The pool is clothing optional and during our visit it was 50/50.  The down side of the
quad is that the noise echoes.  We really felt bad for our friends who had a room within
40 feet of the hot tub.  It got loud with the boom boxes blaring and people yelling.  After
all, you do have to sleep sometime.  So if you like to have a little peace a quite and like
the exercise, get a second or third floor room.

We decided not to dress for the theme nights, we will probably do that the next time.  We
chose to stay low key.  Our day consisted of hanging out by the nude pool, having lunch,
going back to the pool, having dinner, watch the shows, singing at the piano bar, hitting
the disco, then the hot tub and then off to bed.  Pretty much in that order or close to it.

The Wild Bunch was there during our stay.  We met several of them and found them to be
very nice.  There was one incident were a single man had overstepped his boundaries (not
a member of the group).  The incident was handled very professionally by the members of
the Wild Bunch and hotel security.  We had heard from an employee that the same man
was arrested later that night and removed from the property without incident.  This was
the only incident that we are aware of, not bad since there were several bachelor parties
being held there.  Another couple in building six attempted to secretly film what was
going on in the nude area from their room.  Security put a stop to that.

We wish that Super Clubs would stop taking the money from young men looking to
“hook up” at Hedonism.  We met several of them that had asked where all the single
ladies were.  It can’t be a coincidence.  Our observations have always been that single
females tend to hang out at the main pool not the nude pool.  If a single female is at the
nude pool, which there are very few, then she is most likely interested in something other
than a single man.  This is not gospel but what we have noticed.

In a similar note, we encountered a middle aged man from the Wild Bunch hitting on
every young girl in the place.  While in the hot tub he fondled Tiffany’s breast and
commented that he thought she was someone else.  We let it slide.  After he a few days of
watching his moves it was obvious that this was his M. O..  Some females may be into the
father thing but for us, its weird..... man.  Unless you are Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood,
Heffner or Bill Clinton (yea right) don’t make a fool out of yourself.  Most young ladies
do not want to do their fathers or grandfathers.  Enough said.

Getting back to single males, we noticed that there was an overabundance this time.  Day
and night, many would be seen visiting with wrist bands on.  Most made their way to the
nude hot tub to see a show.  We always waited for them to leave before we started any
play.

It rained two of the days that we were there and the sun failed to show.  We actually had a
blast sitting in the hot tub all day.  If you are going to wet, then why not stay in the hot
tub.  While in the hot tub we met a very sexy couple who knew friends of ours.  We
clicked very well and spent many hours each day (and night) playing in or around the hot
tub.  Of course, only when the single guys or day pass people left.  Oh wait, there was one
exception.  This very nice looking couple from Grand Lido Braco thought they would
check out Hedo III.  The four of us talked to them.  Through intense interrogation we
discovered why they left their posh hotel to visit such an evil place.  Needless to say, they
had a hard time leaving.  The six of us made our way to the hot tub next to the disco and
had the time of our lives.  The funny thing is that while all of the girl-girl, guy-girl-guy
and other things were going on, the prude pool people were too busy watching body shots
on the bar below.  They were so excited with licking rum cream off of fully clothed
people that they were oblivious to the action above them.  It was very hot.  A young
couple asked if they could join us in the hot tub and watch.

The young Braco couple then wanted to see what the rooms looked like (wink).
Although they only had their bathing suits, we offered them some dinner clothes so they
could stay but they stayed longer than the pass allowed and they had to leave.  They were
last seen getting into their limo and heading back to Braco.  All right, the limo part is not
true but the rest is.  They will be back, yes, they will be back.  If you were in the the nude
hot tub on Saturday, then you may have caught the action.  It was very hot.

The staff did an excellent job although there have been some changes and new faces.  The
piano bar is still great (oh sh*t) and the disco pumps.  Casper the Munahana chef still
serves up the “snapper.”  The landscaping is looking very lush and is well kept.  What we
would like to see is some minor repairs to the rooms.  Sticking doors, broken towel rack
(wonder how that happened), cracked tiles.  Otherwise, the place is great.

The food is still great but we were a little disappointed in the reservation system.  You are
no longer allowed to book in advance, you can only book within 48 hours.  We were told
that too many people make reservations and do not show.  If you make a reservation and
can’t make it, have the courtesy to cancel it as early as possible so someone else can have
it.

It is wonderful that time seems to stand still at Hedo but like all good things, they must
come to an end.  Because we had a business meeting to attend we had to leave much
earlier than we wanted.  Our flight on American Airlines was to leave at 6:50 a.m. which
means that your bags have to be outside the door and you have to be ready for the bus at
3:00 a.m.!  What a dilemma, stay up all night and party until the bus arrives or get some
rest.  Well anyway, the bus never showed so David the front desk clerk said he had a
driver on standby.  The driver happened this guy passed out behind the wheel of his van.
Tiffany saw a bottle of rum cream on his lap.  I think you get the picture.  So within a few
moments we were the only car speeding down the road.  It was like a roller coaster ride.
The driver was dodging goats, dogs, pot holes and crabs.  When we got to the airport it
was closed.  We had to wait until 5:00 a.m.  No problem.  Next time we will leave in the
late afternoon like prior trips.  Anyway, it was another adventure.

So in closing, we will return again this fall but will try to make our trip coincide with a
lifestyle group who will be going and/or get a few of our Hedo friends to join us.  The
vibe this time around was pretty lame, although at times, some people had come out of
their shells.  A great thing about Hedo is that you get to meet so many nice people, many
of which you will remain friends with for a long time.
