Cavedwellers Rule!!!!

Friday the 6th

Travels went pretty well, Flew Northwest this trip and have no complaints. Got in to MoBay just a little after our scheduled time. At the most waited ten minutes at the Superclubs desk and then went out to the bus. Probably half an hour from landing to the time we were on the bus. Fastest time I can remember. Got in to the resort around 2:30.

Check-in went well and we were off to our room. First time for us in the 500 building, other than the third floor thing it was a great choice. Harold and Shelly got the same building so we will be close to them but they got the ground floor, I so hate them!

Finally naked by the pool and meeting the Cavedwellers lucky enough to have beat us there. Most of the dwellers will not be in till Saturday and Sunday but the group is already coming together and making their presence known.

Friday night is the big birthday party for Russell in the Pastafari. We were fortunate that we got to sit near Bill and Kara and got to begin what will be a long friendship. We liked them from the minute we started talking to them. The party was a riot with Russell ending up wearing a blindfold trying to guess how was rubbing on him. He tried hard to guess how’s tits he was playing with but couldn’t since we had never felt Carolyn’s before. He did have a rude awakening when he was trying to guess who was rubbing his chest and it turned out to be Phillip! Didn’t know you Texan’s were into that stuff Russell! LOL.

After the birthday party, we headed up to the piano bar with our old friends Harold and Shelly and new friends Bill and Kara. It was our best night in the piano bar with Shelly’s new drink the KamaPussy shot. Seemed like it was a popular drink since most of the time there was a line to get one! I still do not know how she could stay squatted on top the bar that long. Shelly is such a giving person, well okay there were a couple of times she made someone finish the shot before leaving. Only been back home for 6 hours and we are having the best time I can remember. I can still picture the four-girl daisy chain on the bar!

Unfortunately being a travel day, we ran out of steam early and didn’t make it to the disco or hot tub before going off to bed.

After the first night it all tends to become one long fun time. Some things that stand out as highlights are:

Bill singing ‘You Were Always On My Mind’ sounding so much like Willy Nelson the government started wanting the back taxes. Then leading the toga night ‘revival’ with a powerful singing of ‘Amazing Grace’. I don’t think Derrick was the only one with Goosebumps.

Kara who does so many songs well but our favorite was ‘Unchained Melody’ it has always been our song and every time I hear it now it will be her voice.

Amber singing ‘Natural Woman’ on the main stage for talent night and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ with Glen in the piano bar.

The sister duets with Amber and Kara, you two are so beautiful I get confused whether I’m supposed to be looking or listening. Either way each time you two sang together you had my full attention.

My personal favorite time was getting a massage from four beautiful women. Well it is that or when Carolyn said lets go out on the pier and play. Always nice to get compliments from the onlookers after a trip to the pier. They act as if we were putting on a show or something. Furthest thing from our mind going out to the pier at four in the afternoon and enjoying each other was putting on a show. After all, it is not like we enjoy being watched or anything. LOL!

This was our first trip with the cavedwellers. We have gone with groups before but never met a nicer bunch of people. We didn’t get to spend much time with anyone in the group other than our dear friends Harold and Shelly and our new friends Bill and Kara and Matt and Amber. But we did get to meet and talk to most of the group and all we met were good people. A lot of them were returning with the group and already knew each other but all of them welcomed us and always seemed to have time to talk.

The cave dwellers were a lot more fun than the group we used to travel with. Nobody tried to make false promises, or control the group. They are just a group that likes to have fun and everyone seemed to respect each other’s own limits. We hope to be able to make a return visit with them next year. I really liked that there was no pressure to make every event they had scheduled. Also it was refreshing that they don’t try and force you to use any particular travel agent. The group we used to travel with started out just for fun but the last trip I felt like I was stuck in a week long infomercial every time I got around the leader.

There have been several entertainment staff changes since we were there in November. Romeo and Teddy Bear were still there but all of the female EC’s were new. This is a good thing in my opinion. The new ladies Angel, Ebony, Gemini and Sweetness are not only much cuter than the last two they are all nice people to talk to.

This is our fifth trip to Hedo III and on the other four we had traveled with another couple. I cannot tell you how many people from managers to bartenders, waiters asked us where they were, and all of them seemed genuinely saddened to hear they had split up. I felt bad in some of these cases because I did not remember the people that remembered us. When we were at the return visitors get together I was talking to Marc Anthony about our past trips and mentioned we had been there five times now and Hedo II once. He asked why we choose to come back to III each time and I told him we have friends there now. For our first two or three days we spent a lot of time saying hello to not just bartenders or waiters, but friends that work there.

Weather for the whole trip was beautiful. We did have one full afternoon of rain but after several days of strong sun and strong drinking, we needed a break. Some of the other days we would get a short afternoon shower then the sun would return.

Food seemed to be better in the main dining room this trip. We usually eat in the Pastafari or Munahana several nights each trip but this time only twice in the Pastfari and once in the Munahana. The waiters in the main dining room have show a lot of improvement since out first trip. No, they are not running from table to table in a frenzy yet, but they do pay more attention to details. One night after filling our water glasses, the waiter looked at one of the glasses for a while then picked up all four glasses and came back with fresh glasses and another pitcher of water. Seems the first one did not have enough ice in it and he did not see any condensation on the glass so he started over.

We would like to thank all of the cave dwellers for making this our most fun trip in a long time. Special thanks of course to our new friends Amber, Bill, Kara, and Matt (listed alphabetically since you are all equally important to us, lol). We felt like we had known you for a long time after just talking to you a few times.
