Brian & Jody - July, 2003

July 1-8

I think I'll begin by skipping the what seems to be required, flight/travel from hell to get to Jamaica and just get on with the good stuff.
Well, I'll get on to the good stuff after this one bad note. Upon arrival to Hedo 3 we were told our suite that we had paid extra for was given away. The front desk manager then tried to pass off a regular room to us telling us it was a suite, but we knew better. So we complained some more, mostly because of the extra money we had spent, and did get our room by the end of the next night.
Being so stressed out from the travel and the room problems we decided to immediately make our way over to the nude pool and just strip down. It's definitely true what everyone tells you...just do it, get it over with and it's all good from there, no one there judges and no one is unfriendly. We met a ton of people in the just first few minutes. That night was the PJ party and the biggest gathering of people we saw at the disco the entire time we were at Hedo. The cage at the disco was one of my all time favorite places to dance.
Pretty much every day consisted of hanging out at the nude pool by 10:00am then off to dinner and the disco afterward til 2:00am and of course the late hot tub soak til 4:00am. I do want to say the nude hot tub at 2:00am on ertain night an be quite packed and a little busy. So we would make our way to the quad hot tub for some peace and quite.
I am proud to say, the hubby and I won the best couple for the toga contest, whih I was really happy about since I worked so hard on the togas. The wet tee-shirt contest was also fun, especially for me, since I won. Needless to say after being in and winning some ontests, the EC's knew me by name, which was reat, though they called me by name for every other event. EC's, Sweetness, Spike ( my all time personal favorite) and the newbie herself that week, KiKi - as sweet as she could be, made our days and nights very entertaining. We just loved their energy and the few candid conversations we had with them.

THE FOOD
Our favorite dinner was that of the Pastafari. Secondly We'd have to say the Maunauhana. Most of the time though we found ourselves at the main dining room buffet, because of our meal hours, which was always pretty good. I personally didn't like the food at the Sctoch Bonnnet, but my husband did enjoy the food there. The nude bar & grill had pretty good hamburgers and crab salad. It was a nice place to go if you didn't want to get dressed to grab a quick meal.

TO END OUR FUN

We wrapped up the week with the beach party, which we really loved for our last night. We spent the evening alone together and enjoyed the great stage show of the steel drum band, the dancers, Prince Bob and the Yogi Man.

We met and enjoyed the company of so many great people, I hope I don't forget to list anyone, Chris & Terry, Merlin & Tiffany (AKA:Monkey Face & Bubbles), Charles & Sherry, Janie & Steve, Frank (AKA:The Camera Man) & Elise, Jesse & Katrice, Renee & Darren, Linda & Curt, Brian, "My biggest fan"-you know who you are, our very good new friends Alan & Bonnie and Lisa & Mike-you two made our trip, just in that one day, and the whole LL group-who were all so much fun.
In a nut shell, we're going back next year and can't wait to hopefully see some of you there!
