Trip dates 3/26-3/30/02
The short version- I had a great time :)
The longer version-
After being so nervous about
traveling alone and going to Hedo that I was physically ill the day before I
left, I finally made it there about 4:00 pm and checked in. I knew
that if I didn't find the nude pool and strip within the first 5 minutes
that I wouldn't do it. When I got to the pool, it was fairly crowded,
so I felt that I didn't stand out too much, and stripped and jumped into the
pool. I took my 32 oz insulated mug and went to the bar, told the
bartender I had just gotten there and asked for a drink suggestion. I
got a "nude orgasm", and promptly got VERY drunk very quick. I forgot
I was nude within 5 minutes. I also started playing volleyball and
making friends. Thanks to Beth and Shaka, I also got grilled cheese
sandwiches :)
Nudity-lots of regular
people. I didn't feel self conscious at all after my initial
stripping. PDAs and PDSs were infrequent and subtle during the day and much
more blatant after dark. People were respectful of other people's
boundaries.
Went to lingerie night at
the disco. Yes, I wore lingerie, as did 95% of the people there. I was
standing at the bar when one of the entertainment staff came up to get a
drink. I looked at him and said, "You must be Romeo." He asked
how I knew and I told him from the descriptions on dennyp's website.
He started cracking up, asked me my name, remembered it the entire time I
was there, and made me feel special whenever I saw him. All of the
staff were great.
The other theme night that I
went to was toga night. Thanks to Beth, who lent me her spare toga.
I was picked to receive a lap dance from Romeo.
I spent my days by the pool,
reading and drinking and making friends.
Food was all right.
Brian and Beth took very good
care of me, and Bart led the nude water slide runs at 4:30. Hi Sue!
I met up with John, who I met through Denny's visitor board. John was
great and Jerry was very cool. Tony and Shaka- thanks for my "first".
Bill, Maddy, Sam and Leela were awesome- loved the body shots and hanging
out in the chairs in the gazebo and making up the chair game. Sam, I
believe you owe me a trade for a pack of cigarettes, and I hope to collect
on it next year ;) Carl was fun, and lord knows everyone else, there
were so many great people I can't name them all.
People were great- I was
extremely nervous about traveling by myself- but I was never alone. I
was always greeted at the pool- "Jersey's here!!!", and never ate a meal
alone. People really went out of their way. Many people knew me
from Denny's web site.
Fun things- nude water slide
runs, body shots, pool volleyball, dinner, nights at the hot tub, and every
minute I was there.
There was a radio station
there, but they stayed over by the prude pool and were very unobtrusive.

Got to say, going to Hedo
alone was one of the best things I've ever done, and I'd definitely go back.
