Subject: Hedo III report 2/6-2/13

    Feb. 6-13th

This was our second trip to Hedo III so we kind of knew what to expect. I'll try not to bore you with long winded stories, also the nights may be a little jumbled up from the rum poisoning...ha-ha.
Trip down was uneventful and on time. The bus ride from the airport on the other hand was a preview of the week to come. The "Miss Nude Centerfold" contest was being held this week at Hedo, we had five strippers and a "manager" with us on the bus, this didn't bother me, however the wife wasn't to impressed with the deeply intellectual conversations being held. I hope this doesn't sound to uptight, but we just wanted a week at Hedo with other normal, average Joe and Jane people like ourselves.
Check-in was a breeze, we landed a room in the 700 bldg. (ocean view) which was very cool since we booked as "run of the house". Last year we were in the Quad, which was very nice, but it's always fun to check out other buildings. The great thing about the 700 bldg. was that we could come and go to the nude pool without any clothing...the small joys in life :-)
Activities were pretty much as advertised, except on Jamaican time (about 30-45 minutes late). We did the rock painting this year which was new for us, we also did body-painting, trapeze, ocean kayaking (you'd be amazed at what you can actually do in one of those small kayaks), plus tons of pool volleyball (it's just a game Fokker!!!). We did go scuba diving once, it was okay, if you've never dived before, definitely go. We did the nude waterslide several times, that keeps getting better and better!!
Theme nights were kind of geared to the "miss nude centerfold" contest, which eliminated some of the guest participation. Teresa and I still managed to get involved in a couple stage games and contest. We spent a couple hours in the piano bar singing at the top of our lungs, I thought Teresa was going to leave me for that....ha-ha.
PDA was a lot more in your face this year, more then last year, not that we're opposed to this, it's just not what we expected. There was a lot of activity in the middle of the day, lots and lots of girl, girl action and plenty of group activity. We did see the "sex police" once on the pier, she told a lady to stop giving oral to her guy, but that was the only time we saw her the whole week, the piers were a great place around sunset. Needless to say bodyshots were plentiful all week.
The service was great as usual, it was great to see Anne-Marie again, it's really nice when they remember you from the year before, and several remembered Teresa and I. I think that's a good thing. The food and the restaurants were great, the drinks fantastic.
The best of all was the great people we met, this happens every year we go there, we meet the nicest people from all over. Teresa and I want to thank all of you for a great week, Barry and Cindy (remember that first night Cindy??), Yo and Jay(you two are so cool), Ellen and Jamie(beach friends and last minute room mates), Jim and Tracy(can Teresa paint or what?), George and Debbie (I hope your foot is healing okay George), Dawn and Tres(thanks for the music and glitter), and of course my long lost friends from Maine who I hadn't seen in 18 years, Ray and Ann(let's not what another 18 years before we tie on another good Jag). I know as soon as I send this off, I'll realize I forgot someone, sorry in advance if I left you out. We look forward to seeing you all again down there someday soon.
As I write this on March 14th, there is a blizzard raging outside, we have 8 inches of fresh snow with another four on the way. Only another 11 months or so to go till out next trip :-)
