A Trip Report (7/29 - 8/4)

A Trip Report from 2 Newbies. (7/29 - 8/4)

We will skip all the travel to, except to say that it was uneventful. Transfer at MoBay was smooth, Minibus to HedoIII was fast, and we arrived about 6.45pm.

Check-in went very smooth, all the paperwork was in order, (except for the extra day that we had prepaid!), and we were assigned Room 811. 1 light didn’t work, and it wasn’t fixed during our stay, didn’t matter, we didn’t need it! The room was great, the A/C worked OK, the water temps varied, but that wasn’t a problem to us. We didn’t have any “bug” problems either, and the noise, if any, was never annoying.

This was our very first experience with a CO resort, or public nudity of any kind. My wife was not too sure if she would be able to do it. We decided to try it the first nite to see how it felt, we found that it felt good!! We never spent much time anywhere else from that nite on. All the people in the pool were friendly & talkative. To all of you who have not tried nudity, just do it on the first nite. My wife is the most conservative of people and was very apprehensive about it for 2 weeks before we got there. Now, we are desperately trying to get back ASAP!! The nude bar servers were really friendly; Anne-Marie is a riot, as was Errol Walker. We played many games of Nude Pool volleyball, painted Rocks with Booty-Licious, (she is a sweetheart,) Tie Dyed with Lacy, (she is awesome, and was a fountain of info about local matters).

We won 1st prize for best Couple in the PJ contest, & won for Best Couple in the Toga Party. We also picked up a Best Tan and Best D*** during some of the games at the Nude Pool. The pool was cleaned everyday, as was the Hot Tub. The Hot Tub was busier after midnite than before, but there was always room for a few more people. There were many PDA’s at all hours of the day and nite and Security just watched in amusement! We were there when the Monsters’ and the Vweb/RC groups were there, so the pool was busy most afternoons and evenings.

The food in the Buffet was very tasty and plentiful; Munahanas was worth waiting for, although the “real” Japanese touch is missing. The Scotch Bonnet had great food any time we went there, but the service is a little slow.

The waterslide was a blast, went down in the nude many times, and I didn’t notice any sharp edges or roughness at all. I never did wear clothes as I went down it so I cannot comment on how that would go. The grounds were immaculate, they were replacing the ropes along the Boardwalk to the Nude area, the worker was at the Gazebo when we left on Sunday Aug.4th. We were amazed at how few people we saw in the Prude areas, pool included, during this “oversold” period. I can’t talk about the Quad Pool as we only went over there twice during our stay, the first and last days! I think that they should make the whole place Clothing Optional, as there were topless ladies walking around the Prude areas at all times, and they were not hassled about it. We found it a real task to have to put on any clothes to go over that way for breakfast or to exercise.

The Gym was underused, but there were always clean towels there! 2 of the treadmills were out of action for a day or two, due to Electrical problems.

All in all, we would say that this was the greatest Vacation experience ever, we cannot wait to go back, our advice to any “newbies” wondering what it will be like when you get there, I can say that you will be very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is the very best, the guests are all there for the same reason as you are, to have some very sexually charged fun times. We were not “hit” on for group or alternate sex, we were never offered Ganga, although a few couples did say that they were offered some “smoke” at the Airport when they were waiting to board the bus.

We over packed on clothes and under packed on Sunscreen, which can be had at the Store anyway. I wouldn’t suggest that you take a blowup float for the nude pool or beach, there are plenty to go around. There didn’t appear to be any laying around the Prude beach , but there wasn’t anybody there to use them anyway.

Conclusion; We didn’t have enough time to do everything that we would have liked to do and yet we didn’t do 1 off Resort trip. We missed the Wednesday and Friday nite shenanigans thru a combination of Rum, fatigue and sun. Next time we will pace ourselves better. We were in lots of “sports” yet only managed to get 39 Hedo Bucks, good for 1 Calendar, you need 50 for a bottle of rum, or 60 for a T-shirt. This info is not posted anywhere!! We made lots of friends and had lots of really great times.

Our trip out was on a Large Bus,(see pic) which was “interesting”, but not quite as interesting as the fiasco that Air Canada put us thru’ getting out. Our ‘plane was due to depart at 5.35pm, but didn’t arrive. They then shipped us to the Jack Tar Villa in Montego Bay, in our own rooms, to get fed and cleaned up. They sent a bus for us at midnite and took us back to the Airport, where we finally took off for Toronto at 2.30am.

Just a hint, the JT Villa was moldy!! About a 180degree turn from HedoIII!!!

HedoIII, no problem mon.

Return soon come mon.

The pic. shows a view thru’ the bus windshield at 2 cars passing us as 1 car is coming towards us. All worked out OK. But to those who ask about the trip to Hedo on the bus, it is a fun ride, & the pic. shows just how narrow the road is.
