Hedo III Trip Report
July 18-25 2002
We are Mike and Kerri and are ready to tell all about our awesome First trip to Hedonism III.
This will be a somewhat in depth report since this was our first time and reading the rookie trip reports really helped us before we went. For those of you not interested in a blow by blow report, here is a very short synopsis. We went (hesitant), had a GREAT time (can’t remember some of it), came back wanting more (and trying to find it). Can’t wait to get back. Best time of our lives.

We did so many wonderful things in Jamaica that we will have to start from the beginning.
We booked a 7 night trip to Jamaica as a Super Surprise Plus Package. For those who don’t know, SSPlus Package lets you exclude one hotel of your choice and you will not know where you will be staying until 7 days out from your trip. Well, 6 days out we found out that we were going to Breezes MoBay. It just so happened that it’s the one we excluded. So our TA said that she would fix it. Well, she did, but we didn’t find out until 2 days out where we were going. We found out that we were going to Breezes Runaway Bay. We were pretty happy with that selection. On our way to the airport we received a call from our travel agent saying that we would be upgraded to the Grand Lido Braco. Wow.. We’ve heard some really nice things about that place and seeing that we hadn’t seen one another for 6 months we were anxious for the romantic atmosphere.
We caught our plane in Houston. We were upgraded to first class free of charge. Our vacation was starting off real nicely. We touched down in Jamaica around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. This was when we heard for the first time (though not the last), “Do you smoke mon?“ We told him no, and wasn’t bothered again and he didn’t seem to take offence. We traveled by van to our hotel. The ride to the hotel was quite unique. You’ll find out what I mean by that when you take your Jamaican vacation.
Once we arrived at the GLB we checked into our room and then walked the resort. The resort was very nice. We walked down to the beach and around the rest of the grounds. It really was a beautiful resort. We only saw about 20 or 30 other people around. So we decided to go for a swim and snorkel a little off of the beach. We found that it was quite rocky once you got into the water. We couldn’t even walk into the water. Since we wanted to spend some time in the ocean, we thought we’d phone the hotel manager to ask if there was a resort with a better beach. Don’t get me wrong. The GL is a wonderful place. We just wanted to be able to walk into the water and feel the sand between our toes. The hotel manager got back in touch with us and told us the only resort with availability was Hedonism III. Mike was pretty excited about it but Kerri on the other hand was SO nervous. We had never been to any type of resort or on any type of vacation with nudity. Nevertheless we put ourselves in the taxi and journeyed our way to Hedo III.
Note: if you switch resorts, you will have to pay for your own cab ride. But it was well worth the $40.
Once we arrived we were asked if we were alright with having a nude side room. We said that was fine. We got to our room and quickly found out it was the envy of the week. Everyone wanted our room. Room number 614 was the best one on the nude side. Right next to the pool. We unpacked our stuff walked the resort and decided to go on over to the nude pool. Mike was a little less nervous than Kerri but we decided that everyone else said the only way to go is to jumped right in. Kerri kept thinking to herself, “ I can’t believe I’m doing this“. Well that feeling went away very quickly. We got a couple of drinks and the fun began.
Thursday night is toga night with Hedo. Since we weren’t sure which resort we were originally going to attend we weren’t prepared. Luckily they had some sheets for us to use for our togas. We got to Hedo at about 5pm so we didn’t have much time but we created two nice ones with what we had. Of course there were nicer ones but ours weren’t bad.. We ate at the Italian restaurant that night. It was very good. After dinner we returned to the nude pool. We spend a couple of hours there, but really made it an early night since we had been up most of the night before and Mike had been traveling for 23 hours the day before. So we went to bed and got up with the sun to take pictures of the nude side when everyone else was still sleeping.
Friday was a little hazy for Kerri. She began drinking just a little to early and little to much. Basically Friday turned out to be like most of the rest of our stay. We got up about 730 or 800 and got some breakfast. Then it was off to the nude pool to hang out for the rest of the day. Play vollyball, drink, eat, and just talk. We played a lot of volleyball on Friday. Nude I must say. A blast. Volleyball is one of my favorite sports so I fit in very well. We met two couples on Friday. We would hang out with them the rest of the week. We still correspond and hopefully will meet up again at Hedo next year. Friday night we ate at the Italian restaurant with our new friends. Unfortunately Kerri doesn’t remember much of it. But Buck and Sherri and Bil and Dionne are some very special people. They each gave us memories that we will never forget! And if you guys read this, look out for that crab!
Mike learned how to scuba dive. We both went out snorkeling a couple of times. We never did get off resort like we wanted too. We were having too much fun as it was.
We won’t go each day since they will all sound like Friday. But I’ll try to give a few tips to the newbies.
1. Bring large insulated mugs if you feel like drinking a lot and not making 100 trips to the bar.
2. Bring lots of ones and fives for tipping.
3. If you’ve never gone nude before in front of others, just jump right in. Start by wrapping a towel around you, walk to the pool, then drop the towel and jump in. After about 15 minutes, you will notice that no one is looking at you.
4. If you’re into them, bring your toys…they will come in handy.
5. Do the waterslide naked. If you are really adventurous, put massage oil on first!
6. Drink lots of water, the sun is hot and sucks it out of you.
7. If you know where you are going, make contact with others going at the same time as you.
We had a great time and can’t wait to go back.
