Trip Report from John and Jill... written by John

Well, we have been home for a few weeks now after returning from our Hedo III trip 7/10-17.  This was our first trip to Hedo III.  We had been to Hedo II in ’96,and there are many things we liked better about Hedo III; although, I couldn’t compare it very well today since Hedo II has been upgraded since we were there last.

We found a nice direct flight from the west coast.  It is a direct flight from LAX to Montego Bay on Air Jamaica.   It was about a 6hr hour flight.  It left LAX at 10:45pm and got into Montego Bay at 6:30 am.

Some may think that this might ruin your 1st day by not having much sleep.  Well you might as well get used to it if you are going to have any kind of fun while you are there.  We found that we didn’t need much sleep, just a few short rests and naked slide runs to charge back up.  We actually got the most out of our first day because by 9:30am we were at the resort eating breakfast.

We got to ride on one of the minibuses, but we didn’t stop along the way, so we got there pretty quickly.   The bus trip to Hedo III was much better that the one to Hedo II.  There were fewer curves/turns and less pot holes.  Probably less goats and cows too!

I jumped right into the Hedo activities by trying the Trapeze after I had been on the resort for about an hour.   I highly recommend trying the trapeze.  With the harnesses they hook you up to, it makes you feel very safe.    … the height of the thing once you are up there can be very overwhelming though.   Let me just say that it was a RUSH.   They have the trapeze lessons everyday at 10:30 and 4pm.   On the day we arrived they also had the circus show and had the guests (myself included) perform for the audience that evening.

We quickly met up with new friends that we met off of the visitor schedule on Denny’s site.   Our newly formed group grew as the week went on.  We met many new people as we participated in the  various events.  From our group alone, someone had won the toga contest, wet t-shirt contest,  miss nude beach/pool and pajama night’s most erotic couple.   Someone from our group got a second place on the female strip contest as well.  We also had the honor of attending Doug and Tara’s wedding.

The oil wrestling was one of the favorites by many during our second day.   I don’t think there were any losers in that contest.   The best part was when you had to go shower off all the oil.   We didn’t break any records for the number of people in the shower but it was greater than 4 and it was a lot of fun <EG>!!!

We made only one excursion off the resort and that was to do the shopping, lunch and Dunn’s River Falls trip.   That trip took from 9am till about 4pm.  They said it would be over by 2:30 but I guess we went long.  The bus made two stops for shopping and the second place we stopped had the lower prices.   So the prices were even better after haggling for a bit.   Lunch was included in the trip, but it wasn’t that great and there were no other options for lunch.   We made one more stop at a Garden before making it to the falls.   The best part about the garden was the aviary  where there were over 80 different kinds of birds and almost all of them ate out of your hand.   It was great having 3 giant blue macaws eating out of my hand at the same time.   The falls were great and the cool water felt wonderful.   I rented water socks  at the falls for $5 and they are well worth it if you don’t have your own.

The food was very good everywhere we ate…. And we ate everywhere often.  Two nights we ate at Munahana’s Japanese Restaurant.   The food was excellent and the cooks and the company were even better.  I will never forget seeing Curt’s butt in front of the grill to the right.   I’m not sure I could eat at that table.... At least without laughing.   Michelle, one of the waitresses, was one of the best on staff while we were there.  She was very funny and made our dinner very enjoyable…. Especially Curt’s!

For two nights we also ate at the Italian restaurant Pastafari .   The food was once again excellent.  We all ordered different meals and shared them so that we got to try everything.  It was all most excellent.  The nice Italian red wines with dinner were very good as well.  … yes I must say, the Italian was the highlight of my trip!!

Our group was wonderful that we were with.  I could mention all their names but they know who they are.

There were many funny times in the hot tubs. Like …..  “ I’m sorry I did catch your husband’s name” … with the reply. “ That’s not my husband, he is with his wife”

Or “Your Wife is beautiful” and the reply “This isn’t my wife……. Have you seen her?”

We would definitely return to Hedo III again.    The place was wonderful and the friends we met were even better.

Irie
