Joe & Cathy - March, 2002

Still tanned and tired from a week at  Hedo 3.

From reading some of the previous trip reports I think we where at a different resort. We have been to Hedo 2  three times and decided to try Hedo 3. Overall had a good time there.  The food at all the restaurants is better, the Resort itself is beautiful, the staff was great. We have been to Hedo 2 during Lifestyles weeks, spring break and in between and it was always packed  at the disco, hot tub, etc., at night, especially theme nights where most people dressed for the theme. At Hedo 3 the resort was at best 30% full, the Quad was totally empty at night, maybe 15-20 people in the disco. and almost no one dressed for theme nights. One night my wife dressed in a short white dress for dinner and was the only one who's dress was above her knee's. Many had sneakers and shorts or dress's down to there ankles. She felt out of place and changed to something else.  Maybe during Lifestyles things get wilder and the travel agents tell non-lifestyle people to beware. At the hot tub area  most nights it was almost empty, except for Thursday night when things picked up. And even then we got dirty looks from some people there when we had some mild fun. During the whole week there we never saw any sexual activity anywhere, except for that night. The bus ride that the travel agent said was 45 minutes was actually 11/2 hours. From our experience at Hedo 2 which was always wild any time we went, I think you must pick the right week at Hedo 3 for it to compare with Hedo 2. We will return to Hedo 2 this fall. Most of the people at 3 while we where there seemed to think it was a Sandals Resort.
