Trip Report Hedo III November 10-17 2002

First the good part. The people we met were wonderful. Without naming names they know who they are. Thanks to them because, frankly we found the experience to be unhedo like, in that the hype, the advertising and of course Chris Santilli's book (yes we bought it).

We wanted a week like all that. Wild, Wicked. Ok very, very, very Wicked. No body shots, rarely any functions by the EC's. Once did they run find your mate contest. ie. Feeling around for his private parts etc. That was as risque at it really got. One night a gal did a couple of guys (Ms. Serbia) in the nude hot tub we know who she was. (You Go Girl !!) for the PDA's. That was pretty much that for the week.

Tony and Kathy tried a couple of times during the week (Pool & Disco) and was stopped within minutes. Really the week was as prudish as I like to get when 1000's of miles away from home.

Yes I was nude at the nude pool all of the week. But THIS WEEK was more of a nudist resort. Yes values are individual in nature, yes we all have different boundaries, I accept that. But, this is hedo and with all the wild trip reports, PDA's, Body Shots, Dildo Ring toss, costume participation etc. This week was not that.

Top it off with film crews from Shipmates a Fox TV show running around with 5 couples 10 cameras shooting all over the place.

I was looking for a Wicked week. I felt I got Sandals or Club Med at an inflated price. I felt cheated and resentful. I know it varies from week to week. Do Wild party people go to Hedo II not III?

It is hit and miss. I really don't know. I guess for some public nudity is a really big deal but for us it is not. We are lifestyler's but take mainstream vacations too. This seemed like one of our mainstream vacations.

Food was tolerable, uneventful. Drinks were great. We are back to taking "Lifestyle" vacations to Paris, France or cruising from Ft. Lauderdale with a stop over at the swingers clubs of So. Florida. They are way more exciting and less money too. Alot better food, better destinations. Better value with the same great people. Yes the people this week were great. The weather was fantastic.

As with Chris Santilli's Book it is about HII and we should have gone there. It would take a lot more convincing to go back to Hedo. I might go back with a lifestyle group like Denny's or others. Let us just say that on the first night, we looked at each (she wearing sexy club wear) other and A LOT OF PEOPLE were dressed in Bermuda shorts with black socks!

We thought "Are we at Hedo or Breezes!!"

Where are the sexy dresses on the women? Where are the costumes?

Did we stand out. We brought all the costumes. Except for one or two nights did anyone wear them/ bring them. 20% if lucky except on Toga night. Pathetic really. 70's night I wore the afro/hippy outfit. I looked like a goof being the only one dressed up.

In summary if you are a lifestyler, go with a group, don't roll the dice with a boring week. Groups (I hear) make their own rules and Hedo backs off. Some weeks get pretty crazy but ours was not one of them. I heard from one couple that a relative was there and offended by how Wicked it was and PDA all over the place. Damn that was our week! If not with a group, take another topless/ nudist vacation (all inclusive) and save the money. You will meet just as great people for a lot less money.

For the record, we have been taking 2+ vacations to the south (most islands, most cruise lines) Europe for over 20+ years. Seen a lot (fetish/sexual/mainstream) and traveled a lot.

I guess I am just disappointed with Hedo III. Just with all the Hedo hype we wanted to call Hedo home and as always, we are still looking. Glenn & Ann Toronto, Canada
