Damien & Marie - July, 2002

July 24 thru 31, 2002

This was our first, of many to come, trips to Hedo 3.  After listening to all of our friends’ stories who had previously visited H2 & H3, as well as reading many trip reports, we both had high (yes, it’s Jamaica…..you can take that literally) expectations.  In EVERY respect, H3 blew (yes, it’s H3, you can take that literally too) away all of our expectations!!  We both have been very active together in the Lifestyles scene for years, so for any place to exceed our expectations had to be great!

Our flight from Los Angeles to Jamaica was a red-eye without incident.  We arrived in Montego Bay about 8am and we were anxious to get to the resort.  We already knew about the 1.5 hour ride to H3 so no surprises there.  And our friends also advised us that any party favors (i.e. ganga) could be purchased at H3 thru many on-site local “distributors”.  However, being the great hosts Jamaican’s proved to be, our van driver offered to provide us with some of Jamaica’s finest.  Couldn’t resist that hospitality!  That in itself made our 1.5 hour drive worthwhile.  But no one really told us about how beautiful that coast line drive is.  And I figured that by concentrating on the oceanfront, we would ignore all the near fatal head on misses encountered by our driver.  So the drive went by faster than expected.

When we arrived at H3 our rooms were not yet ready, so we quickly changed into our suits, packed a day pack with all the necessities (e.g. sun block, condoms, lube) and headed to the bar for our first “Dirty Banana” – delicious!  Then we set off to explore the grounds and get a feel for the place.  The resort seemed much larger than any of the pictures we had seen, and much more beautiful than any of the pictures.  It truly blew us away.  I kept absorbing my first impression of these grounds knowing that by weeks’ end all these innocent first impressions would be replaced by wicked erotic memories.  And in fact, by weeks’ end the innocent first memory from the oceanfront gazebo was replaced by the memory of Marie getting worked in that same gazebo by me and two other new male friends! (thanks Frederico, that Italian thang was definitely working for ya).  During the rest of the week we kept noticing and appreciating the creative energy that went into planning every detail of this place for adult fun.  And even better, you had to appreciate the quality of the resort construction knowing that the same people who lived in the shanty shacks all along the drive to H3 were the same one’s who built this place.

By mid afternoon we had already bumped into a few of the couples we met right here at Denny’s site.  As all the trip reports note, it’s fun to get to know a few couples going before you leave.  Not necessary, but fun.  It’s just kindda cool walking around a place I’ve never been to before and hearing people call out…”Hey, Damien” -  a very nice welcome to paradise.

It was, of course, only a matter of time before we threw off our clothes and hung out (again, literally) at the nude area.  We have NO inhibitions so the nude thing was not a shock to us.  However, as a general comment I must say everyone was in much better shape, and overall much better looking than we had expected.  I’m sure that changes by the week, but we had the fortune of visiting during a week w/a lot of cool, sexy, people!  Although, we were surprised to find out that this was the first such experience for many of the guests.  Many in fact on their honeymoon who had NEVER participated in this kind of experience.  Nothing wrong with that of course.  But we did encounter 1 or 2 of these types of guys who then totally disregarded their wive’s boundaries.  In fact, one guy even wanted to know if one of our friend’s would meet him covertly so that his wife wouldn’t know – GROSS!!!!!  Here’s a major tip if you DO fall into the total newbie category:  Don’t even come to H3 until you have ALL of your boundaries worked out!  This is not the time to “figure it out”.  And if your one of those guys who has coaxed your girl to come to H3 under the innocent impression that it’s “just a nude place honey”, then stay with your woman 100% of the time, don’t leave her side, and ONLY DO WHAT SHE’S COMFORTABLE WITH STUPID!!

Now, we had heard many opinions from trip reports that the nude side was too small.  But we found it to be very roomy to do whatever nasty thing came to mind, whether day or night.  Plus, we never encountered any resistance from the staff when we ventured around the other parts of the resort in various stages of nakedness.

Some of our favorite daytime activities:  Getting bizzy on the large raft anchored in the nude bay, getting bizzy in the nude grotto, getting bizzy in the gazebo, getting bizzy on the side of the nude pool, getting bizzy on the nude beach, and of course…..playing chess.  And I gotta say….someone should have put a huge condom over that raft anchored in the nude bay – it was seeing a lot of action!!  It was also completely slippery by weeks’ end!  That raft was provided by one of our favorite couples of the week and we gladly paid them back with, well………sexual favors, yum!!

Nights were always very special.  It seemed like during the daytime things couldn’t get any hotter there…..but they always did at night.

There’s a nice break between sunset and the disco, so there was plenty of time each day to take an hour nap together in one of the hammocks.  Romantic and refreshing

We tried each of the restaurants during our stay.  And like many trip reports point out, the Japanese restaurant was the best.  It was really cute watching Jamaican’s pull off the hari kari bennihana style cooking.  They couldn’t really flip the kitchenware like bennihana’s but made up for it by moving their hands really fast when chopping vegetables and such.  The Italian restaurant was as though you took a Sizzler (west coast thang?) with an Olive Garden – definitely NOT fine Italian cuisine, but filling nevertheless.  And like everyone with a clue will tell ya……YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO BE THERE FOR THE FOOD!!  The food is plentiful, well prepared, and round the clock.  Hot tip:  make sure you make reservations the day in advance for each restaurant.

The piano bar was a fun place to go before the disco got going each night.  I mean, common, drunk people singing all sorts of out of tune songs and then everyone applauding as though the Rolling Stones just came off stage – that’s entertainment!  I did get the courage on our last night to sing “Faithfully” by Journey to Marie whom I dedicated the song to before it started.  To my amazement I totally nailed the vocals, got Marie to cry, and had all the girls screaming.  I think the decade I spent drumming in pro rock bands might have helped a bit.

Now there were so many diverse opinions about the disco in the trip reports we had read so we didn’t know what to expect.  So let me get the story straight.  I can tell you right off the bat that any of the trip reports that refer to the disco as “too loud”, or “not a good enough mix of music”, or was bummed that the DJ “didn’t take requests” were from old and/or tragedgically unhip people.  The DJ was like you would expect at any cool hip hop club.  All the music was current hip hop for the most part and pumping to get everyone grooving.  In fact, every night the music inspired many to jump up on the bar, strip, and groove.  Too bad tipping’s not allowed!!  Marie, who used to dance in strip clubs, couldn’t resist the pole mounted on the bar – it was like a fish swimming up stream for her.  So each night she stripped and straddled that thing.  And her body does have that way of making guys take dollar bills out of their pockets. Hmmm, so THAT’S how she made her ‘souvenir’ money to buy the little trinkets sold around H3!

Like clockwork everyone cleared out of the disco about 1:30am and headed to the nude Jacuzzi.   It was common at the nude pool area at night to play for a while and then hook up w/a couple or two and go back to someone’s room for more private fun.  That kindda had to happen since that’s where everyone kept their strap-ons!

Some of our favorite night-time activities:  (see “favorite day-time activities).   In addition, our #1 favorite night-time activity was making love underneath that beautiful Jamaican moonlight and stars!!  You really can’t get anymore romantic than that!!  Which is again why we loved this place so much…….it was a purrrrfect combination between unbelievable romance and outright fun.

As for the staff, THANK YOU!!!  Everyone from the management, whom we actually got the chance to meet, to the entertainment crew (you ALL rock!), to the security who really lets it all happen (safely), to the maintenance and housekeeping (man, what you people have to clean!), they all work their butts off for you.  Just provide sincere appreciation for their work while your there, and you should have no problems mon.

We did take 1 offsite trip while in Jamaica.  We decided on the 2 hour mountain horseback ride because we hoped no other tourists would opt for this tour……and we were right.  So it was just me and Marie, and our cool guide who took us on an amazing, breathtaking, ride through the Jamaican high country.    I’m a very experienced rider while Marie, well, was not.  And since the guide pretty much let us dictate the pace of the ride, I guided the horses on a smooth walk up through the mountain where we peaked at about 8,000 ft above sea level.  On the way back though, I told Marie to hold on tightly as I led us on a ripping ride back down the mountain, across streams, through farms and villages.  A couple of times I could see Marie out of the corner of my eye falling off her horse, so I stopped to let her get back up on the horse and regain her grip, and then went ripping off again!  Marie is such a sport and adventurer.  Even though she had only ridden a pony before when she was about 5, she told me to let em loose – is she cool or what!!??  Needless to say, that trip was worth every penny.

We also went scuba diving during our stay at H3 – highly recommended.  I’ve dived many times in my life, whereas Marie never has dived before our experience at H3.  We both had a great experience.  There’s a serious lack of animal life in this part of the Jamaican reef compared to my favorite dive spots in Hawaii, but the 500 ft ravine made up for it since I had never seen such incredible underwater depths.  And for those who have never dived, it’s the closest you will ever come to flying like a bird.  Plus, it’s a major mind twister the first time you ever go since your programmed to think you can’t breath underwater.  So when your actually 30 ft underwater for the first time your mind is saying, “get the F_ _ _ _ back up!”  But then you keep breathing from the oxygen and realizing that you can.  For Marie, it was everything that I had promised her and we were both happy we spent the time putting her through the morning instruction so that we could go on the dive.  That meant also getting to sleep by 3am the night before so that we were in good shape to dive the next morning.  Again, well worth that sacrifice.

Well, that’s our trip report!  We’ve already started chatting w/one of our fav couples from H3 about going back w/them.  Now, it’s only a matter of time and $$ til we’re back.

See ya then,

Damien & Marie
