trip report 1-27 thru 2-3
we arrived in mobay on time on saturday for our superclubs surprise vacation,hedo 3 here we cum! had been to grand lido braco and negril prior to this so we knew jamaica.bus ride in nice and smooth about 1 1/2 hrs with our stop to pick up the party favors.check in was smooth and off to room 911 we went,turned out to be in the heart of prude section however we made the best of it.room was very nice,clean and everything worked fine.actually hedo 3 is so small it was no problem to walk to the nude side each day just hate when the suntan lotion comes off every time i hadda put on clothes to go to our room! saturday nite arrived at 7 p/m was drunk by 10 p/m,went for a short walk and found a very cozy spot above the scotch bonnet....to watch the waves,yeah thats it.hmmm. sunday a/m head to the nude pool about 9, find 85% of the chairs covered by towels already and not more than 4 people laying out.figured out right away you need to come and secure a chair by about 8:30 if you want a decent spot to lay,later in the week saw the workers placing towels on the chairs for people,gee i wonder why? suzzette and ann-marie were great bartenders on the nude side,be good to them and they can help make your trip alot more fun. out of 7 days we had 2 days of great weather,3 days of 50-50 clouds/sun, 1 afternoon of rain however that a/m was perfect,2 days of 75 % clouds. believe me you can still get sunburnt in cloudy weather,watch ole willy. the games on the nude side were very entertaining,no,we did not partake. did not jump into a 20 person hottub with 30 people in it either,could never understand that.they need a bigger nude area,bigger hottub, bigger pool bar.grand lido bracos nude side blows it away. had a great time at the pj party when the wife won 3rd place,not bad for 41 yrs old! then took a stroll to nude beach about 1 a/m for a hedonism moment or 3 hours. found plenty of cozy spots for romance,i will say that for such a small place..... found the food at pastafari to be very good,ask for oneil as your waiter,he is very good....always added something extra to our meal. the food at scotch bonnet was great except the jerk pork,it was mostly fat. the food in the buffet and the breakfasts were pretty decent,not great not bad either. overall i was very pleased with the food.they really need another choice for beer though,red stripe draft does not cut it for premium beer in my opinion..... at the main pool bar they had a couple good workers as well,thornia,iowbbi and cheryl were all taking excellent care of us,be the 3rd day they kept our glasses full without us asking,take the time to make friends with the workers they can help make your trip much more fun,dont be afraid to help them out,they make crapola! some of the downers....lobster night on the beach,what a joke, they do not have enough tables/chairs for everyne,people were sitting on beach chairs attempting to eat. then they ran out of the lobster.this is a management problem. its not rocket science when you do the exact same thing week after week. whoever is in charge really does a lousy job on this special night. the towels on the beach chair situation on the nude side,they need a plan. the slippery tile - be careful i almost fell on my ass every day somewhere or other. tile everywhere and its slick! another real joke - they have a fully clothed security guard stationed on the nude side telling people that they must get naked.i think a uniform consisting of a badge on a hat would be more appropriate. and then there is the lack of towels constantly to the point when they do come out people grab 6-8 at a time! i dont know how they can rectify it however it needs to be looked into. bottom line - we had a great vacation for the price(ss plus). i cannot wait to go back again,have been married 23 yrs and never was the wife wet constantly like this vacation,great sex,great food,great smokes,great weather. thats all we needed,came home very happy, tom & shirley
