Robert & Mary - 05/01

Robert (44) and Mary  (43)   May 25-May 28

"It was the best of times" would describe our first trip to "Hedo Heaven".

We left DFW at 1:00 pm on May 25, then flew to Atlanta, then flew to Miami, then flew to Montego Bay and then rode the bus to Hedo III. (Moral of that trip, never use Priceline for a 3 day vacation).

Anyway, we finally arrived at Hedo III around 1 am. We had a speedy check in and were assigned to room 428. I loved the room! It was in the blue building surrounding the quad area pool.

After we shed some clothes we walked around to the disco had a few drinks and watched the action. My body ached just watching some of those dancers! They worked hard for the money or fun or whatever! After the disco we discovered the steam room and sauna. We shed the few clothes we had on and took advantage of the steam room. Then we put on swimsuits and got in the quad jacuzzi, cooled off in the pool and fell into bed feeling like jellyfish.

The next day the weather was BEAUTIFUL. We enjoyed looking at ourselves in the "circus" mirror above the bed and trying some of the stuff that was on the playboy channel. Then we had a great breakfast from the buffet. We worked it off by playing a little basketball and then we walked all the way around the resort. Then we laid around by the ocean drinking "Dirty Banana's" in the beachchairs next to the circus area. (The trapeze looked like a LOT of fun, but I was too lazy to get up). Then the Scotch Bonnet opened so we had those great cheeseburgers. Of course by this time my husband was chafing at the bit to check out the "nude" side. He decided to take the plunge. I wasn't quite ready so I laid around the quad pool and read. Then after I'd had enough sunshine, I decided to retire to that great jacuzzi tub in our room for a wonderful bubblebath. There was something seriously sensous about having the window open, enjoying the breeze and the view. (Oh there is a shade in the bathroom but we never pulled it down.) Finally my husband wandered back to the room and declared he had found his new "lifestyle". We changed for dinner (oh this is an excellent place to wear your sluttiest outfits ladies) and then enjoyed a great meal at the Italian restaurant, Pastafai's. After that we decided to hit the steam room again, then back to quad hot tub. I had decided that I wanted to experience the nude side so in preparation I had on a yellow see through tank w/bikini. I figure if I could wear that I was next to nude anyway. So after talking to another couple and having a few drinks we went over to the nude hottub where I stripped and received my "first-timers" applause. It's a piece of cake. I NEVER thought I would do something like that but there I was in all my chubby glory.ahahahaha. Anyway, we laid on the beach chairs by the ocean until the security guard looked like "it's getting so late" and then we retired to our room.

The next morning another BEAUTIFUL day. We had another great breakfast, then it was straight to the nude side were we lounged about all day. I loved laying on the float in the ocean over there. Yes the beaches were small, but it was enough for me! And yes there really is a "guy at the end of the pier". ahahaha If you are into ganja be sure to bring your own papers. There were a lot of games on the nude side and good participation. I agree with others that say "make your own fun". My husband and I didn't play but we enjoyed watching everyone who did. I retired back to the quad side for some peace and quiet and ended up at the bar. There was one girl there, then her friend, then another couple came, then my husband, then another couple and we started drinking shots. (It was the bartenders fault whatever he put in them made them taste like liquid candy) Oh my God we had the best time. We all ended up drunk, drunk, drunk and very nekkid!! As new people came up the the bar, I remember screaming "take it off". I remember one girl from Atlanta said she had been dying to get nekkid and she gladly took off her swimsuit like it was on fire. ahahahaha. Then there was one girl who was just the opposite but vodka will make you realize you really do want to be nekkid in Jamicia no doubt. ahahaha.

The downside to all the drinking was we missed our dinner reservations and ended up barfing the night away and most of the morning. Finally my husband paid a visit to the nurse to get me some medicine. Whatever was in that little pill worked it's magic and while my husband went over to get his final dose of "nudity" I finally stopped barfing and was able to pack for the trip home. We took a final walk around and then hopped on the bus at 11:00am for the airport. We ended up sitting there until 4:00 then flew to Atlanta, sat there due to weather delay until 11:00 pm and arrived back at DFW around 1:00 am. (Once again, never use Priceline for a 3 day trip.)

Overall we LOVED HEDO III and will be back again every year if possible and of course stay a minimum of a week. Everyone we encountered was friendly and efficient: the front desk staff, the entertainment staff, the buffet and restaurant staff, the maids and groundkeepers, and the hardest working people there of course the BARTENDERS (you go Ann Marie and of course my special new friend at the quad pool)! We had NO disappointments and we are encouraging all our friends to try it. We will check out H-II sometime too just to experience the beaches in Negril, but our hearts belong to H-III.
