Well-what can we say we were Hedo virgins and now we are not! Lucky us! We had a great time and did just about anything and everything you could possibly imagine. We read the reports here at Dennys site and we contacted 10 or so people-most of who we at least met.
Our trip was from April 15th to the 23rd.
Everyone we met from Dennys site was great and I suggest reaching out and e-mailing people, exchange photos and then when you arrive there will be familiar faces. We kind of gravitated towards a couple of couples and ended up in a group of six that we hung out with and many others that we associated with. I can tell you that you will shake down and be attracted to like couples or people.
Stacey was our token single woman and we enjoyed seeing her out and about-hearing her stories.I think she had a good time.
Because of the trip reports we read before we went, we purchased 22oz covered, insulated cups from Wal-Mart. Make sure they have a cover (too many times knocking them over) and a hole for the straw. This was the biggest single comfort of our trip.
I cant tell you how enjoyable it was to get up in the morning, lather up with SPF 15, (spf 30 on the privates, really important if you want to hit the repeat key everyday) and drop drawers at the pool. Read a little in the morning-promise you will make it to 1pm before your first vodka slush (only to cheat every single day by noon). Hang with your newfound naked friends (Dewayne and Misty, Richie and Olivia, Carrie and Dave), have nowhere to be, nothing to do. Every morning I went through the same ritual-saw the same people Hello, Wisconsin-it was great I felt like Bill Murray in the movie Groundhog Day.
We started a little tradition. In our last two days we met Carrie and Dave, also Hedo Virgins. We gave them our insulated cups one pale blue, one pale yellow. We instructed them to pass the cups onto another couple that could use them. Our goal is to go back next year and find our cups in use by some hot couple-maybe someone who reads this will know where they are now. I know that they have been passed on-Carrie and Dave have already sent us a card. If you see these cups in your travels-please let us know we want to talk to the renters and see what their stories are-if only those cups could talk.
I would like to tell all, however you probably wouldnt believe us anyway. We cant even believe it. I coined a line, in a moment of shear inspiration, that has become our entire groups motto-When I was young, all I could dream of was growing up and being me, right now
