Michael & Joanie - 03/01

My wife and I were both 39 when I booked this trip in late January as a
present for her for her 40th birthday. We signed up with the Super Surprise+
and eliminated Breezes MB. I personally was hoping in the worst way for Hedo
III. My wife played it cool and said she just wanted to be on the beach,
somewhere hot.
About one week before our departure we got the word Hedo III was to be our
resort.  Everything was falling into place. We left Detroit @ 8:30 Sunday
morning and flew nonstop to Montego Bay. It was about a 3 1/2 hour flight.
Getting our luggage and then through customs took a bit of time, the airport
was very busy. But we eventually got on the bus, enjoyed the ride immensely,
and arrived at Hedo around 4:00.
We had to been to Sandals Dunnes River a couple years ago and totally
enjoyed it. But we really didn't know what to expect here. Well, let me tell
you, it was the wildest, most fun week we have ever had.
We had never been naked in public before, but after a quick bite and a
couple drinks, we were at the nude pool, with Rum Runners, by 5:00. Were we a
little leary about dropping our clothes? Absolutely, and that feeling lasted
all of two minutes.

The food at the buffet was average. The place we liked best was the
Japanese restaurant. It is excellent. Pastafari's was, we thought, average
also. The only activity we did was go snorkeling, and that was well woth it.
The only down side to that trip is that it is the only time all week my wife
and I got our suits wet!!
The grounds are immaculate. Even though the resort really isn't that big,
it seems like it is layed out very well. All of the buildings are bright and
colorful and very well done. We loved our room. We were in room 423,
overlooking the quad pool. It did get very noisy one night from the hot tub,
but that was just one night. It seemed like every other night we were out
until 3 or 4 anyway. It was so nice to be able to keep the windows open all
day and night.
The piano bar is alot of fun, even though we were by far the worst
singers there! The worst singers who had the most fun at the same time! The
disco was hot and cold. Some nights not to much going on, but others were
hopping. Toga night at the disco was unforgettable. You truely can be wicked
for a week at Hedo III !!!
Every morning we were at the nude pool by 8:30 and stayed most days until
8 or 9. It was without a doubt the most relaxing and yet exhilarating
atmosphere we have ever been in. From that first afternoon until the day we
left, we met the nicest people you would ever want to meet. The staff was
good, but the couples staying at the resort were the nicest we have met on
any vacation.
Was there anything about Hedo we didn't like? Except for the daily
towel shortage, nothing. That atmosphere does at times get very sexually
charged. And if you are open minded and uninhibited, this is the place to be.
One can see and do things most people would only dream of doing.  Did we?
Sure, both!!!
Would we go back? Without a doubt. It was a great week of paradise and not
one day has gone by that I don't think about the wonderful times and
adventures we had at Hedo III.
