Hedo 3 trip report May 22nd – May 29th
Yes, a single male can have fun at hedo.
A little about me…this was my first trip to hedo, my
first time being at a c/o place, and I was traveling alone. I am 28 yrs old. I
was lucky enough to be a part of “the wild bunch group” prior to going to
hedo and got to meet a lot of people online before going through this group. I
think if I had not done this I would have had a LOT less fun. DennyP’s
message board was very helpful as well as the trip reports; thank you for this
forum Denny.
Plane ride-uneventful…. outside the airport in Jamaica
I went outside to smoke a cigarette and was offered pot about 5 times and also
offered cab rides which I declined. It was about a 10-minute wait for the bus.
Bus ride-what a let down. I was fully expecting Mario
Andretti and ended up with Mr. McGoo, this guy was very slow, and we got
passed by everyone on the road. Those of us on the bus even encouraged him to
go faster, cause we all had to pee.
Tuesday 22nd- arrived at the resort and was
greeted by 2 of the wild bunch gang, which was really cool. I was into my room
in about 10-15 minutes and the bellboy tried to sell me pot, and wanted a tip,
which I gave him so he would leave the room lol. I quickly unpacked and went
to the nude pool wearing a pair of shorts and there is the organizer of the
wild bunch gang, who was wearing shorts and he introduced me to his wife who
was butt naked (was I really ready for all of this?) I forgot my damn
sunglasses in the room so I looked at her forehead when talking to her so as
not to be offensive. I was introduced next to Robin (very attractive and large
chested) who was naked and gave me a great big hug (ahhh). I was introduced to
everyone else and tried my best to not look at anything……….Then it was
time for me to get naked, which I did and went to the pool and talked with
other group members for a while. In trip reports I read that it took about 15
minutes to get over being nude, well not me it took me about 2 hours to get
more comfortable with it. I hung out at the pool all day and got to know the
others most of the day. That night was PJ night and we had a good turnout, the
staff did not let in people who were not in PJ’s for quite a while which I
liked.
Wednesday 23rd- hang out at the nude pool.
Play volleyball, B.S. with the people, make some new friends. Water slide
naked. Etc. etc. That night was bare as u dare and we had a terrible turnout
about 8 of us all from the wild bunch group. I ended up winning a bottle of
rum (which I gave away since I do not drink). Fun is where you make it, so we
made our own fun at the nude pool that night with naked twister and dirty
dice. I sure was a lucky person in the dirty dice game. Circus night I think.
DO watch the circus show it is very good and I saw a lot of neat things.
Thursday 24th- hang out at the nude pool, play
volleyball, B.S. with people, make some new friends, water slide naked, etc.
etc. I think this was the day we had a bad incident. We were playing
volleyball and a mid easterner guy joined in the game and spent most of his
time staring at boobs. At the end of the game we all went to get drinks and
cigarettes, etc. and nobody really noticed this guy crawling up on a woman who
was asleep on a lounge chair on her stomach; so he straddled her and about
this time this woman’s very large husband went and removed this guy in a not
so friendly way from his wife and called for security while bouncing the guy
off of a wall or two. I thought it took security a little too long to get
there. The guy turned out to be on a day pass and was kicked out of the
resort. A real bummer. But the woman and her husband appeared to go on and
have a good time the rest of the week. This was toga night and was by far the
largest turnout. It was a lot of fun. I say do not go if you are not going to
participate in these activities because they are FUN. I actually won the best
roman toga, and another bottle of rum that I gave away (I don’t drink
remember). Later that night I got to hook up with the 6 college girls that
were SUPER SURPRISED to be there and we all hit the water slide. I had a
wonderful evening. A word to ONE other single guy…if you see me on the nude
beach late at night, enjoying the finer sex, please do not come up and ask if
you can join in, then when I tell you “no”, do not ask the girl “well
what do you have to say about that”. If we wanted you to join we would
invite you. DORK.
Friday 25th- hang out at the nude pool, play
volleyball, B.S. with people, make some new friends, waterslide naked etc. I
think this was the day I actually did the glass bottom boat ride which was
kind of fun. I had more fun listening to the employees argue with each other
and call each other names lol. Sadly
another bad incident. We at the nude pool noticed a guy in the 600 building
with a telephoto lens taking pics of us out his window so a very large guy in
our group went and pounded on his door and yelled security, the guy was
probably surprised that he wasn’t really security, but gave him the roll of
film anyway (smart move). Masquerade night tonight. Very poor participation
and a lot of people in street clothes, I did not stick around long.
Saturday 26th- same shit different day- tried snorkeling
and it was harder than it looked. I had never been snorkeling before and
thought it would be very easy, I was wrong. I have to say here that the
employees on the boat were EXTREMELY encouraging and helpful to me. They kept
telling me to relax and so forth. They even encouraged me to practice in the
swimming pool and come back the next day. Hung out at the hot tub that night
and there was a really wild game of dirty dice that night.
Sunday 27th- same old shit, nude pool,
waterslide, B.S. with people make new friends, etc. Learned all about “lifestylers”
from a new friend I had made. Quite an interesting education. I thought all
lifestylers there would just be looking for single women and couples, and I
was wrong, a few, not a lot also are looking for single men, again, not many
though. So many protocols to learn lol. Another fun filled night in the hot
tub.
Monday 28th- the cruise ship arrived with 200
extra people. They moved lunch outdoors today and had a wet t-shirt contest. I
even spied a nameless celebrity there that day. They had miss nude hedo
contest on the nude side that day (much more interesting than the wet t-shirt
contest). There were a lot of gawkers on the nude side from the cruise ship
that day. Had fun with friends yelling at them to take off their clothes. Last
night there. Stay up all night? I crashed long before I had intended to. Still
had fun in the hot tub that night though.
Tuesday 29th- bus leaves at 10:00am, OH SHIT!
It is 9:30 am hurry. Hurry, hurry, eat some breakfast real fast and get on the
bus! The bus ride again was uneventful, and the driver was safe and slow. Then
I flew home with a giant smile on my face.
Restaurants- only ate at the scotch bonnet once and did
not like what I ordered, service was fine though. Never ate at pastafarris, or
the Japanese place. Burgers at the nude grill are good. Food in main
restaurant was fine by my standards.
Facility- nice. The only thing I noticed was the mirror
over my bed was corroded? Non-reflective on about half of it (room 627)
Otherwise I thought the resort looked great. Do watch the tiles on around the
nude pool, VERY slick, wear sandals around the pool.
Staff- GREAT, no complaints, and again to mention the
guys who took me snorkeling as being very helpful. Bartenders are greatly
overworked, be patient.
Security- seemed good. In reality they were always in
yelling distance, and I did see them confront people taking pictures on the
nude side, and people who were clothed too long on the nude side. Did not
witness them say anything to people having sex, except me over at the quad one
night when they thought I was taking too long and they discreetly pointed at
their watch as if to say “time to go now”
Biggest surprise of the trip- Hardbodies. There were much
more than I expected. From reading trip reports I expected most people to “look
like the people at the supermarket”, well I don’t know where you shop, but
they do not look that good in my supermarket. Then again maybe it is just what
I consider to be a hardbody. There were all types of bodies, but I have to say
there were more hardbodies than not, just my opinion.
Complaints- wait staff in the main dining room is very slow; it is faster to get your own drinks.
I read in trip reports that the beaches were small and thought, come on, how bad can they be? Well they are that bad and that small. The nude beach is ridiculously small.
“The beautiful people” as I nicknamed them. AKA snobs. How to say this……….I saw people who thought they were so beautiful and great that they would only play games i.e. dirty dice, body shots, etc. with those they wanted to. Before you say the single guy was excluded, I wasn’t. They excluded other couples. When I played these games I did it in fun. I did things in the dice games with women I was not attracted to, because it was FUN, not because I was using this as a way to get laid. If you think you are too beautiful to play these games then I think you are missing the spirit of the game…FUN…
The soda that comes out of the fountains is gross. I made a daily trek to the quad bar, because the bartender there has 20 oz. Coca colas, which taste just like they do here at home.
Hearing “hedo 2 is much more wild” 20 times a day. I saw some WILD stuff in my opinion, and thought how much more wild can it get? I saw 2 somes, 3 somes, 4 somes, more somes, lesbian sex. People having sex all around me etc. How much more wild can the other one be?
Uh, people “completing” in the hot tub…thank god I saw staff putting a lot of chlorine in the hot tub, and I do not think myself as a prude either
I hate the terms Vinny and Wally and hope I was not
perceived as either. But I now know what a Wally is.. Some of you guys are
just damn weird and creepy. Those of you who never say a word to anyone and
stare at boobs, and masturbate publicly… you are a Wally and you are weird.
LIKES- 90% of the people. I met so many wonderful people there. It was so easy to strike up a conversation at the nude bar, even being a single, and just making small talk and getting to know people. People who stand out Tracy, Walt and Cheryl for the wild bunch gang, Li, Tr, Shana, to:NY and Jen, Richard and Dawn, Robin and John and many others whose I am sure I am forgetting to name.
The overall friendly atmosphere
Biggest decision of the day, eat a burger at the nude bar or go to the trouble of going to the main dining hall for lunch.

Seeing and participating in some wild stuff.
FUN factor…. a 10
Suggestion- USE CONDUMNS, maybe it is just me, but if you
are swapping, or having sex with people you do not know, wear a condom. I saw
a lot of people having unprotected sex. BE CAREFUL! Take extra cigarettes if
you smoke, people will bum them a lot, and use a waterproof container for
them, I used a zip lock bag, and got teased for it some but what the hell, it
worked.
Note to single guys- get to know people prior to the
trip, I think without this I would have had a miserable time. Do not drink too
much; people tend to say stupid stuff when drunk. I saw a guy who was drunk
and said something dumb to a wife and was an outcast the rest of the week
because of this. Word travels fast on the nude side. Be outgoing, talk to
people. (and talk to guys too). Participate in all the activities; I had a lot
of fun doing this. I think I had an easier time getting to know others because
it was just me, and not in a group of single guys. Be nice. I made sure to
keep my hands above water in the hot tub at night, so no one would think I
was, well you know. Leave when it is obviously a couple’s only excursion. I
ate alone about half of the time there and was ok with that. Other times a
friendly “can I join you?” works and was generally well received. Keep
your hands to yourself unless asked otherwise. Be nice. Have fun. Did I get
laid? Yes. Will you? I do not know. Again be nice. The few single women there
are usually at the quad side not the nude side.
Bottom line- would I go back? Most likely. I will
definitely be a part of a group again if I go and hopefully my schedule will
allow me to be part of the wild bunch group again. Did I mention that I was
the ONLY single person in the wild bunch group? Damn them were some friendly
people.
