I
have to start out and say this was one Fantastic Trip. The trip reports give
you an idea of what can, and does happen at Hedo III, but they are only a
tease, compared to the real experience. We
can't say enough about the Hedo staff, and the service.
We never wanted for anything, and all things came in time. The
Staff works very hard to make sure you have the best time possible. The only
downside to this trip was the Showtime Filming.
Our
flight was out of Orlando Florida. Air Jamaica has one flight from there and
it is later in the day. It will definitely take away one day of your time at
Hedo III. Flight left at 2:45 with a stop in Kingston for 30 min. We arrived
on time in Kingston, but then delayed for 45 minutes because of a tire change.
Took off from there, next stop Mobay. Arrived in Mobay, had to circle for 15
min before we could land, due to heavy traffic. On the ground and into the
airport and customs. We
were expecting long lines at this point, but all eight gates were open with
four to six people in each line. The line moved rather quickly until we were
the next to be checked. The three people in front of us had not filled out
there cards, that delayed us for about 10 min. Please fill out the cards on
the plane, it will make things go much smoother for everyone. Stamp Stamp, on
our way thru no prob. Next stop
get bags back in line for declarations. This line was a little longer but kept
moving. All in all took us about 25 min to get thru customs and it was slow at
the time.
Found
the super clubs desk no line there. Told them our resort, checked are name and
put us to the side for our ride to Hedo III. They told us it would be 15 min
before we left. Did not feel comfortable leaving are bags so we each went
outside one at a time to have a quick smoke.
Took
about 30 sec before we were asked if we want some weed. No thanks and that was
the end of that. Did not get hassled like I have heard from others trip
reports. Another point to remember is that if you are tempted to buy some weed
and you are going to go back in and wait for your ride I would not do it. The
door you exit from, you can't use to come back in. you have to walk over to
the right to get back inside. There is a guard that sits right inside this
door and has a clear view of what happens out by the buses and you are also
subject to search when you go back thru this door. The police station is right
there at the airport so you never no who is watching. I would highly recommend
that you wait to purchase it at a different location if you're into such
things. Driver came and got us and off to the resort. We were the only two. We
traveled in a small van. Driver
must have been tired, not much conversation. He drove safely, did not pass
recklessly and got us to the resort safely in about an hour and 10 min
We
arrived at the hotel. No line at all. We received a warm welcome. We had
booked 3rd floor quad building. Was looking foreword to getting to the room
and changed so we could get out, explore, and find are fellow Cave Dwellers.
As we were filling out the paper work, I noticed they wrote a number on our
documents, it was 614. I had to do a double take. I asked is that are room
number? She said, "ya mon ocean view nude pool." I still could not
believe we were getting this room. I have heard that people will kill there
first born to get in these rooms and here we got it without even asking.
Completed the paper work and we were off to the room. We would not really
appreciate the beauty of this room until the next day in the daylight and we
began are real journey into being nude for the first time.
Made
our way to the front bar. First order of business was to get a drink. We sat
at the bar getting are bearings. The group of people next to us decided to do
some interesting things there at the bar. Yep we were definitely at Hedo
III.
Battle
of the sexes was underway and that's where we found are fellow Cave Dwellers,
in the thick of the battle. Got acquainted, then off to the disco. The disco
seamed small but was not bad. The music was loud but not overly so. Had a few
drinks there then off to the piano bar.Piano bar was crowded but we just
joined in and had a good time. Went back to the room, clothes off, and out the
back door 10 steps to the nude pool.
Being
it was night, and quite a few drinks in us, no problem getting nude, and into
the pool. Water was nice but the breeze made it feel cool, so we got out and
squeezed into the hot tub. About this time it was 3 am. The travel was
catching up with us. Decided to jump in the pool one more time. Kerry went to
step into the pool and Splash, into the water. Watch that first step off the
ledge. If your not aware it is there, it can be tricky even dangerous. I am
talking about the ledge next to the table by the nude hot tub. Kerry fell
foreword and into the pool scraping her leg on the table. Be careful there
until you get use to it. Off to bed and some sleep.
Monday
Something
woke us up. Looked at the clock and it was 7 am. No way this could be, we just
went to bed 4 hours ago. We could not get back to sleep, so up in the shower
and off to breakfast.
The
main dining room had a good selection of food but I was looking for the omelet
station. The omelets were good. You
have to search around a little but they had something for everyone's
taste.Finished breakfast and on are way to explore the resort in the day
light. The resort is beautiful. It was getting hot so off for a swim. Back to
the room, Clothes off, and out to the nude pool.
What's
this? Kerry was putting on her bathing suit, so I guess we were off to the
prude beach. This was are first time at a nude resort. I in no way was
about to put any pressure on Kerry about going to the nude pool. We had
discussed this before the trip and we decided that we would just go with the
moment and take it from there. But fate had a little say in this. Being in the
600 building you can't resist not wanting to go nude.
You open the door Nude People. You look out the window, Nude People.
This is an excellent building. The room is Located on the corner of the
building, and right at the entrance to the nude pool. There was a decent view
of the ocean, and it was just a few steps to the pool. All during the week if
we needed anything, just a very short walk to the room. Makes for less stuff
to carry with you.
Bathing
suits on, 32 oz cups in hand, and off to the front bar for a drink. We walked
over to the prude beach; there were a total of 3 people there. The prude beach
is nicer then the nude beach, but we did not have a problem with either of
them. Ok now what? Walk around to the Jamaican restaurant, along the
boardwalk. Fate was calling and we were back at the entrance to the nude pool.
No chairs of course, so down to the beach found two chairs. Off came the
suits. No one stared no one said a word. Sit back relax and enjoy the drinks.
Never looked back.
It
is very hot up on the beach, the breeze did not seam as strong as it was down
by the water. Found a big float left by previous guest and into the water for
some floating. The bottom is hard. Some people would refer to it as rocky, but
there are not rocks sticking up all over the place. Bring some water shoes and
you will be fine. They were just finishing up the fence on the property next
door and the construction workers were having a good look. Floated out further
and heard the expected spsssssss, and there was the guy on the end of the
pier. He was down at the very end on the rocks. The new fence will put a
damper on how he does business. He now has to go to the very end and stand on
the rocks and duck below the fence. But then again that could be the way he
always does it. We
spent about an hour there and It was just to hot so we took up are stuff found
a place to sit it, and into the pool.
The
pool trivia was just ending but Romeo kept things going with
the pool Olympics. That was a blast to watch. If you get involved in this
event just remember that during the tug-of- war the column by the nude bar
makes a great team member. Just ask Philip. The game with the basketball was
Interesting. You try passing a basketball with no hands.
This day are first sighting of a vinnie. When I say vinnie, I mean the
guys that are there to gawk and pester the women, and basically looking to get
laid. There were other single guys there that we met. They in know way met
this definition, and were great to talk to and have around. The Vinnie was a
day passer form Hedo 2. He bothered the women with unwanted advances. He
appeared to be really zoned out. Everyone kept a close eye one him until he
left. This is also when we learned Showtime was on the property filming a
special show about Hedo III. We weren't aware they were there till we found
out at the pool. That
changed on Tuesday. Off for an afternoon nap to recharge for the
evening.
The
Cave Dwellers had an excellent Dinner that evening at
Munahana's. We enjoyed the food. Dinner done, and off to the piano bar.
This was are second experience with vinnies. Three guys came in all wearing
the tight black shirts; tight black pants and slicked back Hair. They pushed
there way up to the bar. We were sitting to the side and I needed another
drink. Walk up next to them, ordered my drink. While I was waiting, one of
them turned around and was checking out my wife. He turned to his friend and
said, "look at the tits on that one you gonna do her now or later."
I just smiled to myself, got my drink and on my way. You can spot them a mile
away :)
Off
to disco for seventies night. Good crowd. The Cave Dwellers were out in
force. 70'es music until 12 30. Our tribe leader Phillip decided it was time
to put on his costume. He woke the prudes up; it was a sight to see. The look
on their faces was priceless. I think he managed to scare a few of them out of
the disco. Oh well their loss. Back to the nude hot tub hang out awhile and
off to bed at 3 am again.
Up
again at 6 30 am. Something kept driving us to get up after sleeping 3 to four
hours. Oh well time to get the chair out the door, books yellow beach towels
on the chairs.
Breakfast
same as day before. Food and service good. We had taken a seat one table
away from the pool and along came a camera and crew. They set up next to us.
We were going to leave if they started filming but they were doing a pool shot
so we finished our breakfast. Kerry
had a massage scheduled for today. Back to the room, out to the pool for a few
before the appointment
Kerry
left to go pay for her massage at the front desk. I found this out later, but
when she was at the front desk Showtime was there filming. She went to pay as
they were filming someone else at the desk. They decided to film her. She told
them she did not wish to appear on film. One of the film crew told her to bad.
Then a battery pack went dead on the other person they were filming. Cut was
called for a re shoot. We will be watching to see what happens with that when
the show comes on, and take it from there. They did not have are permission to
film her or use her likeness. She was dressed but we did not go on vacation to
be filmed. I sent an E-Mail letter to the Manager and Super Club sales about
this event. Maybe we will hear something from them soon. :)
While we were relaxing at the pool, a helicopter flew into the resort
and lands. Did not think any more of it until it takes of again. It did a
circle of the resort and was on the prude side for a while. Then all of a
sudden it was on the nude side, flying over the 600 building, then around to
the waterside and back to the prude side. What the hell is this? You could
plainly see that there were cameras on the helicopter.
It
made quite a few passes over and just behind the 600 building. It then began
to make fly bys on the ocean side past the nude pool and over to the prude
beach. Then a big circle and back around again. It kept doing this over and
over drowning out the music and conversation.
Everyone
in the pool began giving the helicopter the one finger salute, each time it
would fly by the nude pool. After
quite a few passes it stopped. Someone From Hedo made an announcement at the
pool that they were just getting scenery shots, and that the camera could not
recognize you. Yeah Right!
The
helicopter began its rounds again taking flyby shots of the nude and prude
shoreline, what a way to ruin a good afternoon. Guest relation did not earn
any awards that day for sure. This went on for a while.
There were no pool games that afternoon. (I wonder why)
They
did have body painting after the helicopter decided to leave for the day. We
did the body painting and is was great fun, Kerry really got into it and I
ended up standing there for 45 minute while she painted a large tree on my
back and then she did the front. We had heard from trip reports that the paint
did not wash off easy, but it washed right off. There were quite a few
creative artists including Kerry but my vote went for the elephant, which
included real leaves on its trunk, need I say more it was very creative.
Took
are daily nap and up for dinner, we had dinner at Pastafari's. We enjoyed the
food the wine was so so the service was good. The PJ party is at 11 but we did
not go up right away because of the Showtime activity. We figured they would
be there. So we waited awhile and off to the disco in are PJ's. No sign of
ShowTime. They were serious about the no PJ no entry until 12.30, they started
letting the other guest in then. Had a few drinks and danced. The days of
getting up early and drinking all day and night caught up with us and we
called it an early night 1 am.
OH
well so much for that. Up again at 6 am get chair off to breakfast. Followed
by the pool. Romeo showed up at the pool and started organizing some
activities. Someone had hung a sex swing up at the pool and Romeo made sure a
proper demonstration was given on its use. Always wondered how they were used.
The beach party and circus show that evening was great. This was
our last night toured the resort and off to the room to pack. Bus was at 7 am.
Had bags outside door at 6, still there at 6:45, we were just getting ready to
take them up ourselves, front desk called making sure we were up and took are
bags. We took on last look at the nude pool are home for the last three days
and what did we see are tribe leader carrying on the Hedo spirit in his
costume.
The above barely touches on the things
we seen and did at Hedo III. I standby the motto what happens at Hedo stays at
Hedo. I hope your experience is as good as ours was. Yes we had a few negative
things happen but the positives outweigh the negatives. We did travel with a
rather large group but we had more then enough time to do what we wanted when
we wanted and had a great time doing them. Don’t let the prospect of
traveling with a large group scare you into thinking that you will have to
spend all of you time with them doing everything together.
I
highly recommend that you post your trip date on Denny’s Site we were
Fortunate to be invited to join the Cave Dwellers. We can’t thank you
Enough Phil and Jane. We also enjoyed the company of Jack
& Maureen, Pam
& Mike, Russell & Deann, Eddie & Annette, Gina & Rick,
Jeff &
Tammy, Hugh & Judy and all of the others that were there when we
were. We did not even meet all of the Cave Dwellers because of the
spread out travel dates. i am sure they are just as nice and friendly as the
ones we traveled with. We love you all and hope to travel with you again.
I
also need to thank Judy at Go Classy Tours for all of her help. She did
everything we asked and then some. Even checking date and flight info when we
wanted to extend are booking knowing full well in her mind that it would be
cost prohibitive to do so. We will get it right next time.
Will
we go back? Probably, but if Superclubs does not take it upon themselves to
better inform guest and travel agents of events like the Showtime filming. We
will spend our money elsewhere, no matter how good Hedo III is. It’s all
about respect.
