Ted & Chris - 01/00

My wife and I have been to Grand Lido Braco once, Sans Soucie twice
and Breezes Runaway Bay eight times. So we are familiar with the
"Super Clubs" way of doing things. This was to be our First visit
to Hedo 111 and by far our BEST vacation yet!
The trip to the resorts is so familiar it's not worth mentioning, So
we'll start with Checking in.

It was Great! Within 5 min. of arriving at the resort at 2:00 pm
we were walking to our room with the porter and by 2:10 we were on
the Beach!!

The room was nice enough, colorful decor. I'm sure some folks have
gripes, but lets face it, the only time you're in there for any amount of
time, is for sleeping (ahem). There is a full size mirror above the bed and a great
mirror behind the head board as the bed is positioned from the corner of
the room. My wife's only observation was with all these mirrors, there was no
full size mirror. She had to lay on the bed to check herself out (with
clothes on). All rooms have a jacuzzi bath with yet another ceiling mirror
above.
The bath tub is situated next to the window and after 2 days I discovered
the window shade but still enjoyed waving at the guy in another room, across
the pool, as we both showered. It seems all rooms have either a pool or
ocean view.

The total acreage of the resort is rather small but "No Problem",it's well
laid out and didn't seem cramped at all. While you can walk around the whole
perimeter of the place in ten minutes easy, it still felt private, even at 100%
occupancy.
The C/O side I can see getting cramped, but there's no reason to. There is
plenty of room between the decks, the (small) beach and pool. It's probably
just that us naked folk are all so friendly everyone wants to congregate
and gab. The bar and grill on the C/O side was always busy but I didn't
notice that it took any longer to get anything compared to any other resort.
MJ, the bartender at the C/O bar was EXCELLENT!! After our first drink he
knew our order all week!

We enjoyed the food our whole time. Of course it's no Lido but we had NO
complaints. We ate twice at both the Japanese and Italian Restaurants.
My wife enjoyed the Japanese because they didn't cook everything in butter,
so it was much lighter.I prefered the Italian only because of the chocolate
deserts and expresso. The Buffet was fine and we enjoyed the grilled LOBSTER
served on our first night at the resort! The Midnight buffet is a great way to
end the day. The only thing I missed was not having warm Sake at the Japanese
restaurant.
One suggestion. Go down the water slide(naked of course) Before you pig out
at the midnight buffet. Just a suggestion.

We did all of the theme Night parties and unlike other resorts we were not
the wildest couple. We were probably in the bottom half of top 100 at Hedo!
There are alot of planned activities throughout the day and evening,if
you are so inclined. Mostly what we did was lay around, tan ,drink and eat.
For us,the perfect vacation.

We found the staff to be the BEST of ANY resort we've stayed at, and that
is saying ALOT. Everyone was fun, friendly, and helpful. Hell, our maid
hugged us when we were leaving. Some folks we have to name: MJ the bartender
at the C/O pool, Anne Marie(various bars) Lincoln(owns the main bar)
Stretch(entertainment,to say the least) Nicole(head of spa services) SEE
HER for a 1 hour massage!!! Nicole, there is a special place in heaven for
you! and Ms. Massey an Exec. who made Hedo possible for us!

We met alot of fun people there but for some reason it was always some one
preparing to leave the next day. Which made for alot of great "Last Night
Partying"! It was kind of funny, First thing in the morning I'd go to the
Front desk to make a reservation and say goodbye to someone else leaving!
Overall there was a wonderful mix of folks from all over the world and all
walks of life. We never ever met one prude who had a stick up their butt.
For those few folks we heard whining that it was no Hedo 11 , I don't know
what to say, having never been there. I enjoyed several shows at the hot
tub, some with my wife, and some as a vinnie! My most bizzarre memory is the
guy wearing only black shoes and white socks, ogling and spinning tunes
on a portable CD player. Pretty Scary, man!

We would reccomend Hedo 111 to anyone and are ready to go again. NOW!
If people find any rough edges, Great, it can only get better!
And finally.... We will NEVER book our trip through Air-Jamaica AGAIN!
And would advise Anyone to think long and hard before doing so!
But.... thats another story....If you have any questions feel free to e-mail
us.
Thanks Denny!
