Hedonism III 6/08-6/14/00
I just returned from my second trip to Hedo III, the resort was especially buzzing since Playboy was there filming Night Calls. Got to meet Juli Ashton and Tiffany Granath though being a woman myself I have to admit, I was exited when they gave me a hug, if you know what I mean!! Helmet Cam Man was there, boy is he a hairy animal. Very quiet guy. Which sort of surprised me . Anyhow, the Playboy people were great, took pictures with us anytime, let us watch and even be extras in some of their filming. Venus swimwear was there also doing a photo shoot, so you know the beautiful people were out there.
Thursday 6/08/00 We arrrived only to find we had to wait a long time for our room to be ready. 20 minutes turned into 4 hours later, back in Dec. there was no problem like this. From talking to several people they pretty much experienced the same problem. Hedo was allowing people to check out late, which causes a chain reaction of delays. Oh well.
Anyhow while we waited for our room sis and I got toasted at the main bar and met some wonderful bartendars. Make sure you look for Andre and Aldon, Kevin is a sweetie and Ms. Wilson at the quad pool.
The Toga Party was switched this time to Friday to accommodate Playboy but boy did they put on a show for us.. Scandalous which is a lesbian bondage act did a show during the talent show and I am still recovering from it. WOW.
The PJ party was pretty tame, no bondage outfits, nothing shockingly risque.. but I'm giving it time.
The Disco was hopping good selection of music. The Piano Bar was especially great, several guests with exceptional singing talent entertained us. Jimmy from NY was a hit. Not to mention the piano lap-top dances we were treated to by several of the ladies.
Guests: The crowd was mixed, alot of couples, some swingers of course. But tame for Hedo standards. Though, I did see some open daytime sex, which even some of the nudist couples were frowning on. I thought that was supposed to be conducted in the room during the day. Also nothing like waking up in the morning, looking out your oceanview window and seeing a woman having "breakfast" on the deck if you know what I mean.
The singles were plenty, but alot of the guys I talked to of course complained about the cold women. All I could do is listen. Many were thinking of transferring to Hedo II, looking for some action. Good luck was my thought. Hedo is all about fun, partying... and if you meet someone special, great, if not... stop letting that drag you down and I say have a great time. I sure did.
Food. The main restaurant has alot of choices and was good. Pastafari is great, the service has gotten better, meaning faster. The Japanese restaurant which we affectionately renamed the Jamaicanese restaurant was excellent. A MUST to do when you go to Hedo III. BUT by far the best is the Jamaican Restaurant... The Scotch Bonnet, there you can basically get all the Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork to your little hearts content. God that was good eating!
The property is immaculate, no room is bad. Of course the 600 and 700 buildings boast the best oceanviews and easy access to the nude area.
The staff is wonderful. Tristian, Michael aka Diva, Louis my best buddy is there now and a wonderful gal named Stretch, you should see her show during the talent portion of the Toga Party. LaToya, she is the best!!! The whole entertainment staff is very attentive to your needs. Plus a special warm thanks to Mr. Levee, he is such a nice man...
Going back to the airport, looks like Hedo might have to adjust the time they depart for the airport now, especially if you fly out on Air Jamaica. What a mess. You now have to stand in 3 lines to check in and when the whole procedure is done you get to the gate on the skin of your teeth.
