Trip Report Hedonism III  10/21-10/28

The journey and arrival:

Uneventful until we arrived @ the Superclubs desk in the MoBay airport.  We give them our names and resort (Hedo III) and we are told that “The resort is full…You will have to stay @ Breezes Golf and Beach for the night.  There will be rooms available @ Hedo III in the morning.”  WHAT!?!?  My first instinct is to try and see if he could “find” a room with the help of a few American $$ but that proved not to be the case.  We had talked (via-email) with a few people before the trip and as far as we knew they were in the lobby of HIII waiting for us with drinks, so we were none too happy about being at Breezes.  Well, we boarded the bus for Breezes with the intention of (at least) stopping by HIII to look for our friends.

The bus to Breezes took about 1H 20Min (exactly what the driver said it would take) with no stop – presumably because it was nighttime and dark.  We checked in, made a call home (AT+T phone card worked like a charm), and then got in a cab to go to HIII.  The two resorts are about 2-1/2 minutes from each other by car.   We arrived @ HIII, and after haggling with the taxi driver about who was paying the fare (He tried relentlessly to get us to pay, even though the resort was paying), we found the people we were looking for within 2 minutes (S+D and C+P).  After a couple of drinks, P and I boarded a cab back to Breezes to get our bags and bring them where they belonged, HIII!!!!  Officially, we didn’t have a room, but we crashed with P & C, and the staff at the front desk said, “We don’t know anything about it” (Wink, wink)

The first night:

The first night was full of fun!  Drinking sitting in the nude tub, etc.  Actually P and I (along with some others (M and J+T to “not-name” a few) stayed out until sunrise.  We renamed to nude hot tub the “Tepid Tub” (turns out one of the heaters had broken the day before).  At one point we went on a search for a hotter tub and wound up in the glass bottom tub near the disco (Naked of course).  When we arrived there was a couple in there (with suits on) and as soon as they saw the “crazy naked people” coming they ran for the hills…  Oh well, we didn’t mean to scare them away!!  I almost forgot the first night slide adventures!  To all of you who want to break the slide rules here’s a tip:  Four people going down the slide naked at one time IS FUN, but IT IS AGAINST THE RULES!  The young lady at the bottom of the slide made sure we all knew that by making us go up to the top again to read the rules and then slide one at a time (What a serious punishment hee hee).

First order of business on Sunday was to find a place to hang the swing.

Thank you to Teddy Bear for the ingenious idea of hanging a rope off a tree branch (Has he done this before?).  It worked great and made the swing easily accessible to anyone who wanted to give it a try.  Despite constant pressure for “the owners of the swing to give a demo”, we somehow managed to avoid a public showing.  From what we heard through out the week, the swing did get its fair share of use…. Usually in the evening, after dark…..although, Whipped and Cream had no qualms about a daytime show in the swing the first day they were there.

Let’s talk activities:

1.Circus school… A whole lot of fun! DO IT!

(Here’s a tip: You need to wear a shirt and socks to do the trapeze and you can’t be drinking).  If you go enough times, they’ll even teach you a few more tricks.  If you bruise easily, like Dawn does, don’t be surprised when the backs of your knees end up black and blue from hanging upside down on the trapeze bar.  But, do it anyway – it’s such a rush!  And please tell Billy that Dawn says Hi!

2. Resort cert. Diving… Awesome DO IT!!  (need to wear a shirt for this as well)

3. Off-resort excursion “ATV’s and Dunn’s river falls”  DO IT!!

The ATV ride was a blast and the views of Ochio Rios were great.  We would recommend that you do this trip with another couple, because the atmosphere at the top of the hill could be a little creepy if you’re by yourself.  The Climb up the falls was a little scary at times but again a total blast (Tip:  BE SOBER THE DAY YOU DO THIS TRIP)

4.  Theme nights: We did PJ, and toga.  We had grand intentions of also doing bare-as-you-dare and masquerade, but for one reason or another, it just didn’t work out.  We won for best couple on PJ night – too fun!  That was the one and only time that we were there that the disco was actually occupied!  Wall-to-wall, as a matter of fact.  Some very wild PJ’s so use your imagination.  Toga night was a little tamer, probably b/c it started earlier and was held in the main dining room.  But, our group managed to win one category – was it “Worst Tied”?  And here, Dawn thought she did a great job with KO’s toga….

5.  “Games” – Each day, the entertainment coordinators would come to the nude pool to have us play games.  Some were quite sexual, some were not…. but they were all fun.  Play these games b/c you can earn a ton of Hedo bucks.  One day, Teddy even let Dawn be in charge of the money!!!  Her friends made out well!  Plus, if you play the games, you can honestly say that you didn’t sit on your butt all day!  If you have the chance, have Romeo body paint you.  He is awesome!

Other stuff:

Rest of the trip was filled with daytime drinking, sunning, volleyball in the nude pool, meeting a whole bunch of GREAT PEOPLE (Too many to list here), and just total fun!  We never had any problems with any staff or other guests (except for one night in the hot tub a couple of single guys wanted to get into a “party” to which they were not invited, but a simple “hey guys!” took care of them (Thanks G!!)   We did not feel pressured to “tip” the staff during our stay, but did the day we left just to let them know how very much we appreciated their attentiveness and service.  The entire nude pool staff was phenomenal and definitely made our trip more enjoyable.

Each afternoon, make a naked group invasion of the prude side and go down the slide.

What fun it is to “shock” the prude side to the point that they all stopped what they were doing and just stared at us like we were aliens.  Some actually took pictures of us “crazy naked people” (Can’t you just hear them at home “and then we saw naked people….).  Plus, this is the best way to get a fresh, dry towel, as you will most certainly be given one as soon as you surface from the pool.

We can’t/won’t get into some other details of our great times…  BUT K and G thanks for trying so hard to help Peter win the “Mr. Sexy Wet Shorts” contest. (esp. you K!!!)   M, you deserved the #1 spot you received (Peter was #2).  P and C … We can’t wait to play Mexican with the “special” dice with you again – still waiting for you to call  “TIME”, C!!!  We’ll never be able to watch ice-skating without thinking of you!   K and K ….It did make a great picture and we can’t wait to send it to you!  G and R…. Win damn it, Win damn it!!  When are you going to be in Buffalo? Either one or both of you?  And if the offer still stands we’re all about the boat!  G and J….What a difference six hours can make!  When are we going to go skiing???    And, thank you all for our “Bon Voyage”…. We can’t wait to see the tape!  Sorry you got all those bug bites for no reason, but we’re sure the first bus appreciated R’s enthusiasm and we know we really enjoyed the extra 6 hours we got when our flight was delayed!

To the rest of the people we met who we haven’t mentioned - WE MISS YOU ALL and had such a blast hanging out with everyone!! We hope to be able to reconnect with everyone at some point!

To people thinking about Hedo III - It can be as mild or as wild as you want it to be, just respect others and make your own party! Leave your stresses and attitudes at home, let loose, and Have FUN.

One last thing – When you’re at the nude bar (which is where you should be!)

order the drink we (actually, J) made up - The Walk of Shame.  It’s quite good!  If Nola and the crew don’t remember, it’s vodka, coconut rum, dark rum, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and a splash of OJ.  Maybe next time, it will actually be on the drink menu!!!

WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!!
