6/8-6/11

Second trip to Hedo III (1st trip in Jan. '00)

Flight: I won't bore you with the details of the flight..I made it.

Check in: Arriving on a 7:00am flight. I was the only one going to Hedo III, so I didn't have to worry about fighting for position for check-in. I guess more people fly in on the later flights. I wanted the 800 building, so I had to wait about an hour until the room were ready (cleaned) I probably could have got a room sooner, I didn't have a problem waiting. I think this is the best building, its quiet, has a nice view, and its only stones throw from the nude side, you can see the nude side from the rooms.

Waiting for check in: Waiting for check-in, I met Steven Pottinger(Public Relations Manager). I remembered him from my first trip, but I didn't get a chance to meet him. We talked about what been happening at the resort. I told him that I read on the site about the paratroopers. He told me that I had pick a good weekend, because Playboy was going to be there doing some filming.

Rooms: Rooms are great, as you have read. They do have shower curtains up now, for those concerned and they now have iron/boards. On the T.V. they have closed curcuit of the Disco and the Main dining room. They had this in January, but not to many people mentioned it. Maybe they were to busy to look at T.V. or maybe they never turned it from the Playboy channel. Rooms in the 800 building are great, probably the best view out of all the buildings.(Oceanfront and Oceanview)

Food: Food was great.. Buffet, Italian, and the Scotch Bonnet. I didn't go to the Italian and Scotch Bonnet my first time. I guess I was relaxing to much, I didn't know they existed. So, I was set on going to both this time. I didn't go to the Japanese restaurant, I don't care for Japenese food.

Playboy: Playboy were filming for the show "NightCalls" . You had the opportunity to sign up to be in some of the scenes, if you wanted to be a star. They had both nude scenes and prude scenes that you could have signed up for. They shot scenes in different locations around the resort. I didn't sign up for any, I wasn't ready for my 5 seconds of fame.

Nude Side: I can say that the nude side jacuzzi, was an acceptable temperature the whole time I was there. A big difference from January when it wasn't hot enough, but the weather was colder then. So it probably was the same temperature it was then. Actually, the weather was to hot to be in the Jacuzzi, I perfered the pool. I had alot of fun playing volleyball on the nude side, we had alot of good games going. There were never any staff activities on the nude side that I saw. In January, they would always come over and try to start up something like trivia or bodyshots. I saw bodyshots a couple time initiated by the guests. At night, you saw your basic Hedo III extra activities. More women with women than anything. The Jacuzzi's were tame this weekend as compared to January.( I guess it's all in timing). To reiterate, Hedo is not an all out orgy fest. Just come with an open-mind, come to have fun, to relax and what happens happens............

Theme Nights: The resort invited the female duo "Scandalous" to perform on one of the theme nights. They performed with hot candle wax, leather, whips etc... they also brought an unsuspecting man on stage blind-folded, and you can use your imagination.

They also invited a cuban dance group to perform and also a jamaician dance group, both were great. All of the invited entertainment was a great addition to the regular theme nights. You might want to check with the resort to see what special events will be happening on the dates you plan on coming. I don't think the travel agents would know, so you will probably need to call the resort.

Togo Night: Seemed to have about a 50/50 participation, enough to fill the main dining room dance floor if you are familiar. In January, I wasn't there on Togo night so I can't compare whether it was more or less than usual.

Disco: Big Improvement!!! The music was great. I don't know if they fould another D.J. or someone donated the right music..I forgot to ask. Usually the disco would be dead by 12:00, but it was going strong to about 1:30 or 2:00. One night in the Disco they had a thung contest. They had about 7 or 8 ladies on the bar competing ,the disco was packed. The Mascarade night in the disco was great, again it was packed, a few people did bodypaints for costumes

Prude Side: As you have read before, not alot of people swim on the prude side. But the staff did have a water olympic game( relay type races) in the pool. It was fun. Make sure you do some of the water sports. Kayaking is great. Also check out the glass bottom boat. Don't forget about the circus trapeze (must do) if you have the nerves.

Flight out: Definitely, get a drink before you leave. It's terrible. Especially, if two planes are leaving out the same gate at the same time.(Gate 1).

Overall: Another great, relaxing time. I be back again next year. Maybe we can get a group going and get a good deal , I'm game.......

Suggestion: Some type of activity at the quad pool, I think the quad pool is the best pool there (awesome deck) , but it's never used.

I tried not to forget anything.. email if any questions
