We were in Jamaica at Hedo III from July 17-24-for seven great days. It was our first time to experience such a place and we found it very exciting and fun. We left from Atlanta on a 7 AM flight- got in line by 5:30 and finally got to the counter at 6:30 a.m. to check in baggage. There were only two individuals at the counter and about 150 people in line. Great start for a vacation--they were SLOW---Americans it seemed but seemed but must have worked on Jamaican time--SLOW. They did not seemed to be concerned at all. Not a good start- thought for sure we would miss the plane since it was in the last terminal. Seemed like it must happen all the time-they held the plane and then announced it was because passengers were arriving late---everyone booed on the plane. Fun but not a great way to start.

Jamaica Air was good--very crowed and the seats are close to each other but it was a good flight. The weather was windy upon arrival and you have to walk down the stairs. Customs in Jamaica was no problem. We went to the Super Clubs desk and found we were the only ones going to Hedo III at the time. We had the bus for ourselves for the hour and fifteen minute ride. IT WAS SOME Ride but we loved it since the driver talked to us all the way--(between avoiding-potholes, cows, goats, people, and other buses). It was different for sure-but for us it was fun. We arrived at Hedo III--the staff was great. NO problem for us at check-in--straight to the room. We heard on Sunday that there was a long wait. Our room was exactly what we wanted and paid for up front. We heard that some at arrived on Sunday did not have this experience--if so complain at the front desk--they got what they wanted. Of course at first we were somewhat nervous-but wanted to check the nude pool and beach since we knew we were going to be there most of the time. IT was not different from any other nude resort. There was nothing that was shocking.

We spent most of our time around the nude area- pool and beach-expect for the evening shows and meals. We found the food for the buffet was not great--but it looked good. We were not impressed buy the food in the terrace. The service was great and there was plenty of food. We at three nights at the other restaurants and found them to be much better. We also enjoyed the grills-which had very good food.

The people on the nude side were much friendlier than those on the prude side. By the end of the week- everyone knew almost everyone. Most of our friends left on Sunday and Sunday night in the hot tub was not as good for us. We went to Dunns falls one day and also on a cruise. On two days the water was very rough.

General comments for what we heard, expected and experienced for those going in the future. 1. The nude side is where the action is. There are lots of games arranged by the staff and they are fun to watch and I guess participate in. We did not. 2. During the day and usually up to the late hours- (2 am)-it is usually just like a nudist resort. There are some couples playing at times but not a lot and most of the time it is very discreet. 3. Ita depends on the week that you are there and the other people present-if anything happens at all--(like you expected before you go) We heard people say that our week was very common. 4. It is not like HEDO II---we talked to people who have been to Hedo II and Hedo III is much less wild. We talked to a couple at the airport at departure who visited Hedo II during the week on a day pass- and said that people were involved even in the dinning room. HEdo III is much more classy I guess. It is not one wild party so if you expect that- you will be disappointed. Some people at Hedo III expected more I think. 5. Around 1 or after there was some activity in the hot tub with couples. Some was very open but it was not one big orgy. 6. Just an observation here------for you single guys---Single ladies were NOT at the hot tub at night. Only couples--and we did not see any couples pick up a single guy (may by happened) The single ladies were at the disco at night. 7. The rooms were great-everything worked. You will be pleased with the rooms, the staff and the grounds.

Overall - it was not as wild as we thought it would be. Many others said the same thing but it is new-only been open for about a year if that long. We might check out Hedo II next time or do the sampler. There are more things to do in the area where Hedo II is and the watersports are better. We loved it and play to go back someday.
