Well, it has been a couple of days, but I am back to reality. I just wanted to share my thoughts to you all about my trip to Hedo III.

This was my first trip to Jamaica. When going through the Airport customs, make sure you fill out the customs form completely. The line that says "JAMAICAN ADDRESS:" means the address of Hedo III. Otherwise, you might sit there for a while looking at a frustrated Jamaican man not willing to help you! From the Airport to Hedo III which is an hour and a half drive, you may want to close your eyes for 2 reasons. The first is that there is not much good to see except for a bunch of small huts and a depressed country. Second, the roads are terrible and the drivers get you there as fast as possible without too much concern about safety. None the less, they get you there.

Once you get there the front desk people are very nice and get you checked in quickly. Do not expect to get a drink fast at the main bar. All the other bars were very fast except for the main bar, so do not get discouraged if your first drink takes 10 minutes. And for all of you BUD, and Miller beer fans out there, forget it. All they have for a beer is Red Strip.

Single men sharing rooms please be aware of something. Even though the front desk tells you twice that they do not have a roommate for you, do expect your door to open late in the night with a new roommate showing up. This happened to me and I did not care if I had a roommate or not, but the procedure of assigning a new roommate needs to be worked out by the main desk. They should call first and then have the person come up.

While I stayed at Hedo III they were shooting pictures for a new brochure. The people who took the pictures wanted to take over the whole resort, and they did. It seemed that the guest were in the way of the photo shoot, instead of the opposite. One day they closed down the nude pool. That was very disconcerning because that was why I went to Hedo III to be there at the nude pool. I know that about 20 people complained to the manager, but nothing was done. It showed a lack of concern for the guest.

The other thing that you might want to check on is if there are any groups staying at the time your vacation is planned. We had about 170 people from Greece. These people all stayed to themselves and they took over the entertainment by playing greek music every night. It was novel at first but got very old quickly. These people did not party on the nude side at all or with people outside of there group.

The food I would categorize as being good. It isn't great. The reason why I say this is that the Japanese Steak house here in my home town is better than what I had at Hedo III. And the same goes with the Italian restaurant. The service is excellent at all of the food places. I recommend a Jerk Chicken Breast sandwich at the Scott Bonnet. It was the best thing I had during my stay.

Hedo III is not wild. Wild things happen but the guest are the reason for that. The nude pool area does not have hardly any entertainment during the day. I have not been to Hedo II but I heard that they cater to the nude pool and the "FUN" games. It seems like many guest stayed in the prude area vs. the nude. We did play nude volleyball one afternoon and that was the most entertainment I got at the nude pool. (that was fun but the 2 staff people did not take off their clothes when they missed!!) Only about 10 percent of the guest took part in the special themes including the toga party. I think that is mainly to do with the Greek people, but I would have thought many more would be partaking in them.

The facilities are great!! The rooms are huge and the only thing bad about the room that I was in is that the light switch for the bathroom is not in the right place. The maids do a great job of cleaning the rooms, but do not expect them to do it until 4 or 5 pm. The grounds are kept spotless, and security is present 24/7.

Going home was a nightmare in the Montego Bay airport. There were about 150 people in line to check in. And that was for all of the airlines. We had to stand in at least 3 different lines to get on board the flight home. I wanted to buy a Shirt but there are not hardly any 2XL shirts to be found in Jamaica.

Overall I had a good time. Relaxation was the #1 thing on my to do list and Hedo III is definitely a good place for that. I do believe that if you want the wild side vs luxury then Hedo II is the place because it sounded like the manager of Hedo III did not want Hedo III to became the "ZOO" like Hedo II is.

Take care and have fun to you all!!!
