Trip report-date of visit 6/16 thru 6/26

Facility -

PRO- Beautiful and it was nice to see the managment correcting the tile problem that was reported in some of the earlier reports. They seem to really be responsive to problems reported. During our visit they were having a safety inspection of the trapeze and were really concered with safety.

We stayed in building 5 and the room was beautiful and well maintained.

The food was excellent! They even made adjustments for us for breakfast when they learned my wife wanted coke for breakfast. They found she wasn’t the only one and by the time we left it was available every morning.

The staff was great! If you treated them right- they went out of their way to make your stay perfect. Special note: The combo that played at the Scotch bonnet was really nice. Wish they had played more than just an hour set. The Sax played Kenny-G as well as Kenny-G.

CON- Safety caused some irritation in the scuba diving. They questioned log books and abilities of certified divers more than any place we have ever been. There was some resentment caused.

The Diving was nice but not special. It was depressing to see fish traps on the coral and a definite shortage of the marine life that should have been there.

On a couple of occasions there was a shortage of hot water but I think it was a timing (everyone using it at the same time) issue.

I guess we were too old for the Disco- it wasn’t disco music (it was regae rap).

It was so loud you couldn’t stay inside.

If you want any of the extras-Masage,nails, hair you can’t be spontaneous. You have to make reservation days in advance. They don’t have enough staff on site to support the pampering they could have sold.

We were really glad that we brought our own CD music- the regae got old really quick and the new Rap stuff was hard to take.

Don’t take the number of negatives wrong- It was a great vacation - and we will be back!

We probably won’t bring our dive gear. We won’t take the rip off Blue Mountain tour.

But we will be back.
