I am going to condense/combine my report. It is no reflection on H3O (Hedonism III) or the airlines that a tropical disturbance, later to become known as hurricane Keith, would cause delays in my flight or produce rain everyday of my visit.

Also, I do not want to stay at a resort that is next door to an airport. The road in front of my house is in better shape than the Interstate highways in some countries. Resorts cannot afford to build roads from the airports that Americas are accustomed to. This is a review of H3O.

I travel more than the average person, with most of my travels including sun and beaches. I have visited 12 different places in 6 different countries including 6 clothing-optional beaches in the past 8 months. I have traveled on a regular basis for a number of years. I HAVE NEVER STAYED AT THE SAME RESORT TWICE. There are some I would not revisit even if the airfare and the stay were free, and there are some that I will revisit after I visit all of the resorts that look interesting to me. I WILL REVISIT H3O as soon as a problem I feel needs to be rectified is taken care of. The problem is the same that most of the reports in this website address in one form or another, which I will get to in a minute.

It appears H3O was designed to be a laid back uninhibited adult Disneyland. It is a small and private resort with good security and a relaxed atmosphere. The beach is small, approximately 100 yards long. H3O has excellent food, service, and a staff that goes out of its way to be of assistance. If a problem with anything including transportation occurs, you can contact Marjorie-Ann Knight at the front desk. She will start rectifying the problem immediately. H3O's staff stands behind what it says and will even go the extra mile to satisfy the customer (within reason - for some people cannot be satisfied).

The problem I feel needs to be rectified is that of the "nudity law". If nudity offends a person, that person should visit Disneyland or Disneyworld. I have bad knees and a scarred stomach that has to be protected from direct sunlight, which prevents me from going completely nude and playing some games.

H3O may have had a clothing-optional side in the past, but now it is 'nude' or 'prude'. I was informed during orientation that nudes are not allowed on the prude side and prudes are not allowed on the nude side unless the person goes nude, which prevented me from watching any of the activities on the nude side.

The problem is the management of H3O has split and divided the resort into two separate opposing factions. Some of the activities at H3O were planned for both sides at the same time. I do not know what occurred on the nude side, but I do know that some of the activities on the prude side were washed out, some did not have enough participants to function, and some just did not materialize. I spent some of my time visiting with friends I met, but most of my time was spent in my room watching TV.

If the barrier has to be in place, at least use the rivalry to H3O's advantage such as nude vs. prude volleyball games etc. Until this problem is dealt with, I will find other resorts to visit or stay at home and watch satellite TV. As soon as I hear that the problem has been rectified, I will start making plans immediately to revisit H3O.
