Gary & Sonja - 12/99

Finally, after an inexcusably long delay, we can offer the following thoughts about one of our best vacations ever. Air Jamaica - Direct flight from Baltimore - No luggage for two full days, sorry Mon!, Plane must have been to heavy. You were flying first class, really sorry mon, have a Red Stripe & chill. Oh well. The Bus - The bus and the obligatory Red Stripe(s) - Excellent Mon! No problems at all with our ride, either way. The Place - Where to begin. Gary and I have traveled extensively for business and pleasure, and haven't found anywhere quite like Hedo 3. The grounds were beautiful, the layout was perfect. The staff was incredible at every level. If you visit, introduce yourself to Simone (Guest Relations Manager) - she is simply the best. Although we weren't planning to spend much of our time on the nude side - we lucked into one of the best rooms at the resort (we thought so anyway) - Request building 600 if you're okay, or borderline okay with the nude side - It's the best in our opinion. We had spent two or three months checking out Denny's message boards which for us were invaluable. It turned out that the first group of people we ran into, were folks we had met at Denny's. - With no luggage, we made a quick tour of the property and found ourselves almost immediately drawn into the afternoon party in the hot tub at the nude pool. As we were walking by, trying not to "look", we heard our names called out. Sure enough, Dave (or Les-his alias) and Deb had been watching for us. Three minutes later we had been reduced to our birthday suits due to the peer preassure (oh well!). Before the day was over, a dozen of us had bonded. This bond lasted throughout our trip, and continues today via e-mail and phone. Everyone agreed we'll try for a reunion sometime in June. A few of the very special crew - and then I'll continue. Dave n Deb, Sheralyn & Steve, Ms. Dallas (Stephanie) & Roger, Angie & her man, Lindy & Georgio, & Jennifer, Jay T & Jeff (mmm) - actually, all the single guys were mmm. Body painting (daily), Shaves - new styles(hmmm), and Woody contests at the pool - all out of character, all lot's of fun. Did I say BODYSHOTS!! - and taste-tests... What could I be thinking.

The food, rooms, and foodservice was excellent. Mostly breakfast (late), and the Italian Restaurant. Warren and Sophia at the nude pool bar did a great job with the daytime food & drink.

OK - Back to business. If you go - get a massage, it's a must. Ask for Nicole. Again, we've traveled alot, and she is by far the best ever. We haven't been to Hedo 2, so we can't make any comparisons - but we thought the entertainment staff was excellent. Nurse, Stretch, LaToya, and Butch were a blast. Please, tell them Sonja and Gary said hello - They know me as that Bad, Bad, Girl. - We' will suggest Hedo 3 to all of our friends. A great friend, Rob from Canada has gone for the entire month of January (we are so jealous). As many have said, It's what you choose to make it - Our gang made it FUN. - My only complaint - not enough sunglasses to choose from in the gift shop. I lost four pairs in five days - Bad, Bad, Girl. - Woops - almost forgot, I was sooo lucky. I came in second in the wet-t contest, and was voted best PJ's at the PJ party, and best "bar-top(less)" dancer at the piano bar - can't believe I did that for three hours one night. Three honors for which I had never previously competed - Bad, Bad Girl. Through it all, my husband & I were together, and he had the same great time I did - that's the key. If you have a great relationship, Hedo is the place to go! We loved the people we met - we will remain friends. Cheers to all - or Bottoms Up! Sonja & Gary
