This was out first trip to Desire after going to Both Hedo resorts several
times we decided on a change of scenery. The flights down are all about
the same and everyone is just ready to get there anyway so it all takes to
long.
We thought the resort was great and it is different from the Hedo resorts as
far as up beat temp all the time. This is definitely more laid back than
Hedo is. We could not choose one over the other though. We like
them both and they have there advantages. We like the beach and beds at
Desire and the ocean being right there at your door on the ocean view rooms is
great. The rooms are about the same at both places as far as we could
tell. The suites at Desire win hands down though. We had an ocean
view room and it was great. Had a living or sitting area as you first
walked in. Hedo does with the bathroom category though. The wife
did miss the Jacuzzi tub from Hedo.
The staff at Desire is the best for sure as they are always making sure you
are taken care of. The staff at hedo the last few times was not as
friendly or helpful as at Desire.
The food is about a toss up for us as both had their advantages over the
other one. We do like the buffet at Hedo better for sure as it is bigger
for lunch and all.
No sex police is nice to have at Desire and everything that happened was in
good fun and taste at the Jacuzzi or by the ocean on the beds at night.
We went with some of out best friends and met some new ones as you always do
and even got to see some old friends as well. If you like Hedo we feel
you will like Desire as well as it is smaller and a little quieter than Hedo
but just as much fun and maybe even more depending on what you are looking
for.
