Joe & Marlis - November, 2005

Although english is not my mother language I'll try a trip report about our stay at Eden Bay resort in english. May be later on in german.

We stayed at Eden Bay from Nov. 21. until Dec. 4. 2005. During this time we met Rick & Connie who sent a trip report too. High Rick, high Connie, it was a pleasure for me and my wife Marlis to meet you. Hope to see you once again.

For us it was a very familer and international athmosphere. We arrived late in the evening coming from Hamburg, Germany, via Amsterdam arriving with a young couple from Belgium an a french couple from Chamonix in the french alpes. Eden Bay is the right name: a garden eden at a bay. The stuff you will meet is doing evrything to make your stay unforgettable. The names I remember: Karina (I love you) for your endless smile and the beer, Peggy and Mike for their entertainment, Patricia and all the others I forgot their names. For us it was the first time to have "All inclusive". We never had so much cocktails in our life than at Eden Bay. Be sure you can order "Tequila Sunrise" at every time. But the taste differs due to your bartender on the beach. Meals were very american, okay. Coffee was "super". During our stay there have been about 50 to 60 guests from all over the world although there is much more place for people to stay. But it seemed that it was enough because we thaught the hadn `t enough towels and glasses and dishes and so on. I said we met people from all over the world. On this way I will send loves and kisses to espallity to Sir Richard and Lady Madeleine from Luton Town in England, Rolf and Suse from Bremerhaven, Herman the german and Jeanette from Munich, Sami and Illary from London, Rick and Connie from Ohio (I told you) and the honeymooners from the villa on the left hand side.

Finally the only real adventure we had was the trip back Puorto Plata, where we get our plane back to Europe in a last second.

We `ll be back in Eden Bay at the end of march.
