Public secondary education is not free in Jamaica. Children going into secondary school take an entrance exam in grade 6 - the GSAT (Grade Six Achievement Test). Based on their grades, the children of the Hedonism II staff members below earned scholarships. They were awarded JA$10,000 dollars (about US$150) from the funds raised at the 2005 Wet, Wild, and Wicked Winter beach bash and silent auction. That was matched by a grant from John Issa from SuperClubs. The Scholarships may be renewed depending on the financial status of the WWW fund. Typical cost for a school year at a secondary school in Jamaica is JA$50,000 (about US$750).
