Bill (Kink Bill) - December, 2007
Dec 16th to Dec
27th, 2007
This was our
first trip to Hedo over the Christmas holidays. We normally are there in
Feb. However, after this trip I think we will be going for Christmas
from now on. We arrived on DEC 16th landed at 12:45 PM and got to see
the new wing of the airport. There wasn't many planes landing at the
time so we were able to get thru Immigration and Customs in record time.
TimAire had their guy waiting for us and a plane sitting and ready to
go. We were walking up the steps to the lobby at 2:10 PM. I had e mailed
the resort asking for room 2280 if possible. They had it available and
we were off to it riding in Tony's truck along with the luggage. The new
safes are great. I was able to put my dslr camera case and my portable
DVD player in it with room to spare. Our mini frig arrived the next day.
With the spa rooms having them, it makes it harder to get them in the
regular rooms. What really surprised me was that they stocked it while
we were there. They had never done that in previous trips.
What really amassed me was we hadn't been to Hedo in 2 years but when we
entered the dinning room 2 of the staff called to us by name. At Delroys
bar Scumba saw us walking up and he automatically put 2 glasses of Ting
on the bar with a straw in one of them. It really made us feel like we
were back home.
Monday was a little cloudy and a storm came thru Monday nite. We woke to
a beach piled high with sea grass. It took them a few days to clean it
up and Agustus didn't seem very happy that it took so long to clean his
beach.
Piano bar had a bad smell coming from it and very few people going in
because of it. I talked to Kendricks about it and the next nite there
was no smell. The disco A/C wasn't working that great and you could
smell the mold in the air because of it. Because of the EC's rehearsing
for the Christmas nite show, they weren't in the disco at nite as usual.
This seemed to make it hard to keep guests in it.
On Tuesday I encountered some thing that I had never seen before. While
walking down the nude beach I spotted a young male fully clothed taking
photos with his cell phone. I approached him and had a few words. Had
security remove him from the beach. I found out later on that he was the
new tennis pro. I talked to the EC's about him and they said they would
handle it.
The weather was now really nice. The next 10 days were perfect. No
clouds, temp's between 85a nd 90 degrees.
The new green, yellow and white colors in the dinning room is really
nice. Same as the new sofas in the disco. Food has been good and even
though very few guests there the day time games were very good. Wife won
the best screamer on nude water slide. She also won 1st place for most
revealing and I got 1st place for funkiest.
EC's doing more of the nite time shows. In the 20 years I have been
going there I saw another first. Teddy from the dinning room got up on
stage and acted like he was doing one of the female EC's from behind.
Those of us who have known Teddy knew we were seeing something that was
completely different for Teddy. The shy guy was having a fun time. I
think I fell in love with Sunshine one of the new EC's. She spent a lot
of time with wife and I and was really nice.
Room 2280 had really good A/C and plenty of hot water. In fact had to
turn the A/C off twice because the room was so cold. It could have been
because of the low number of guests.
As it got closer to Christmas there was less and less guests. I counted
50 people on the nude beach one day. Towels and chairs were plentiful.
Returnee party moved to Thursday nite because of the staff Christmas
party on Wed nite. We won 3 free nites for most trips since we won
before. No guest talent during the Toga Party so show was mainly EC's.
Friday nite the piano bar picked up. Met some new friends, Shane got the
karaoke going strong. Friday met Jon and Janet of the Fluffers. Kidded
Jon that the reason we were here at this time was because we heard that
he was bringing a large group in Feb. He said it was going to be his
mission this week to convert me to a Fluffer. Even if we don't, him and
Janet are two really nice people and was glad to have met them. Sat nite
Shane and another friend Cathy ended up on the piano exchanging clothes.
You had to be there to enjoy it. We have been going down to the pier at
nite to feed the fish. Saw 6 rays one nite as they swam past the pier,
turned around and swam back the other way. The pier is really nice at
nite. I think they need to place some chairs and tables there for just
sitting after diner.
Over the weekend they started putting Christmas lights around the
property. The court yard really looked nice and there were even lights
on Delroys bar.
Saw a white bird on the beach sun after noon. Looked like an egret. I
held a french fry in my fingers and it came over and took it from me.
The staff said they never saw it do that before. I guess it must have
liked me because of the devil horns on my head. Speaking of the horns I
get from the staff and locals that they are goat horns and not devil
ones. I get them saying "don't bump me Mon".
Christmas dinner wasn't anything special but the show that the EC's had
been rehearsing all week was the best I had ever seen at the resort. I
told Tavis that they should make it part of the monthly entertainment.
It was the first time I had ever seen the guests give the EC's not one
but three standing ovations. The show was that great.
Next day another new friend, Kim, somehow talked me into letting her
paint my big toes with clear glitter nail polish. We decided that we
would be coming back this same time again next year. Thursday was check
out day. It was pouring rain. It made it a little bit easier to say good
bye.
There were a few small problems during our stay but the good things made
them disappear. The trip was one of our best. We didn't have the over
crowding and craziness of Feb and I actually got to lay for six hours a
day for ten days on a beach chair under the trees about 20 feet from the
water. The food, weather and people made it a great trip.
