Todd & Kim - January, 2006
1/7-1/14
This was our rookie trip to Hedo but thanks to this web
site, our preparation was more experienced than some of the veterans we met.
Special thanks to Hedo Rick for all the tips. We arrived on Sat., which
seems to be the big transition day, and got settled in around 3pm. We
took a little tour of the grounds but since we were still in full attire we
didn't go past the nude beach sign. We had some food at the prude grill
and got to talking to the host couple for lifestyles. We are into the
lifestyle but not members of the group. They ended up taking us under
their wings and introduced us to some wonderful people who we hope to keep in
contact with and hopefully see at Hedo again. Anyway, the resort seemed
really dead and we couldn't figure out where everyone was until Sun. when we
took the orientation tour and they took us to the nude side. WOW! that's
where everyone was!! As far as highlights and lowlights: rooms and
food as expected-so,so. ( I am a picky eater but did not go hungry it just
wasn't 5 star food), ECs are a great bunch of people, resort was clean and
beautiful, everyone is so friendly to one another, trapeze is a total rush,
fitness center is top notch. Lowlights: water temp for showers can be an
issue depending when you shower, some of the contests taking place
during dinner are stretched out way to long ie. wet t-shirt contest turns into
a 1 hr. ordeal that has nothing to do with a wet t-shirt, heard a lot about
the hot tub at night but after going there for 1st time and watching 2 guys
use a towel to skim the water, and still see tons of "stuff" floating around,
we were out of there(Why would anyone think I want to soak in their "stuff"?).
This was our 1st trip but cetainly not our last. Thanks again to
everyone on this site who gave us helpful tips so we could enjoy our 1st trip.
