Greg & Cyndi - 03/00

March 17th, 2000

This was our third trip to Hedonism II. An overdue vacation to say the least, especially since it had been three LONG years since our last trip. We left home at 5:30 AM pumped and ready for Jamaica. While waiting for our plane to board for our Delta connection to Atlanta, we were told that there was a problem with the plane, and it might be delayed an hour or two. Boy were we bummed, although our Air Jamaica flight didn’t leave Atlanta until 9:00 AM, so we still had an hour or so to spare. Fifteen minutes later another announcement was made, the plane was ready to board, YAHOO, we were on our way!  Our Air Jamaica flight had no problems, we left right on time! We drank Champaign the entire way there, along with some strawberries we brought along just for the occasion. By the time we arrived in Mobay, we were feeling Irie. We arrived in Mobay at 11:30, went quickly through immigration, and customs, and by 12:30 we were on our TimAir flight to Negril. From all the Champaign we had consumed on Air Jamaica, we were not feeling any pain. As soon as we boarded the plane, Cyndi asked the pilot if he would mind if she got nude during the flight, and he said “No Problem Mon, with this BIG ass grin on his face. He said you guys must be going to Hedonism, Hedonism people are so wild and crazy. Cyndi couldn’t wait any longer, she was nude before the plane left the runway. Well, I won’t give any more details of the flight, just to say that we finally joined the mile high club on the way to Negril. I think our pilot had a good time as well. Quickest flight to Negril I had ever been on. We were at the front desk checking in by 1:00. Soon come mon, go have lunch, and check back in an hour. They said the resort was overbooked so please be patient with them.  No problem mon!

We decided to walk down to the nude beach before lunch, the last time we were here they were in the middle of building the new nude pool complex, and we were anxious to see it completed. It was beautiful, everything we had imagined and more. We found out that Delroy was sick and wouldn’t be back for a few days, so we had Scumba fix us a couple of dirty bananas. They tasted GREAT, we were finally back home. We didn’t stay long at the nude bar, we were still dressed and didn’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. So we decided to go have some lunch. The food hadn’t changed since we were here in 1996, it wasn’t gourmet by any means, but it was very good. We have never had a problem finding plenty of good food to enjoy, and the local fish dishes are excellent. We went back to the front desk and found that they had given us a room in the range we had requested, 2178, damn, we love this place. After taking our bags to the room we removed our clothes and hit the nude hot tub. It wasn’t long before we were chatting with a few couples we had met online. We highly recommend getting to know people online before arriving, it’s a great way to meet people. The rest of the afternoon was spent playing dirty dice in the nude hot tub. The dice provide a great icebreaker for the shy people. You should definitely take a pair when you go. We anxiously waited 6:00 PM to try some of Robert’s famous jerk chicken. It was delicious, better than we ever imagined.

Friday evening they have a circus show, which we would highly recommend attending. It’s a lot of fun. After the show we went to the piano bar to meet the infamous Piano Man Dave, who replaced Lenworth a few years ago. We loved Lenworth and couldn’t imagine a replacement that would be as good or better than he was. After meeting Dave, we knew right away that we would have a good time with him. He was as crazy as we were, and wasn’t afraid to have a good Hedonistic time with the guests. He was a nice change to the piano bar. He would have at least one person strip on top of the piano each night, and his version of the “Big Bamboo” song was hilarious. But, let me warn everyone, don’t take anything he says personal, he picks on everyone. Don’t miss out on the piano bar, we didn’t even know it was there until our second trip. It’s a lot of fun. After the piano bar it was off to the disco to dance a few hours before hitting the hot tub. The disco was still the same, we thought they were going to rebuild the disco 3 years ago, soon come mon. We did notice that the long-time tradition of people swimming down to the windows in the main pool and mooning everyone at the disco bar had ceased to exist. When I asked a new friend of ours about it, who had been to Hedo 6 times in the past 3 years, he didn’t even know the windows were there. Oh well, times change. One thing I noticed about the disco bar, the bartenders seemed to be pissed at the world, and took forever to wait on you. Although Cyndi never had a problem getting waited on. LOL. After we danced for an hour or so we hit the nude hot tub. It wasn’t as warm as I would have liked, but what the hell, it was Hedo. No Problem Mon. I ask one of the pool attendants if they could turn up the thermostat, and he said no problem, but it stayed the same our entire trip. I guess it was better to be too cool, than too hot.

Well the rest of our trip was much the same, we sunbathed during the day (we spent most of the day around the nude pool), participated in most of the games, and played nude volleyball. Jerk chicken at 6, dinner at 08:00-8:30, piano bar after the show, disco after the piano bar, and then the nude hot tub, in bed by 3 or 4. No our trip wasn’t on a strict schedule, but this was pretty much our normal routine. Of course it varied, but I’m trying to keep this report from becoming a novel. LOL.  They only have the island picnic once a week now, and it’s on Wednesdays. The island picnic isn’t for everyone, but everyone should go at least once. We always have a blast on them. Eat breakfast before going, you will be drinking a LOT of rum and beer, and you will probably get drunk. We didn’t take the catamaran cruise this time, but have taken several trips in the past. We will definitely take the cruise again next trip.  Lobster tail night is still on Tuesdays, and is our favorite Hedo dinner night. PJ night is also on Tuesday nights, Cyndi wore a sexy blue teddy to dinner and I think everyone thought that was her PJ outfit. The PJ party was fun, as always, and almost everyone had on PJ’s. Cyndi won 1st place in the bondage category. You can see her outfit on our web page. Thursday night is still Toga night, but they don’t seem to be as organized as in past events. It’s still a lot of fun, but if you go up for dinner and the show please WEAR A TOGA! You will have a blast. Pastafari has gotten better, they actually change their menu a few times a week now. You should eat there at least once on your trip. It’s a great place to take new friends you meet, it’s quite so you can get to know each other, without all the loud noises. Another bonus is, it’s air-conditioned. Be sure to make reservations if you want to eat there, and be prepared it usually takes 2 hours from start to finish. We just walked in a couple of nights and they were able to accommodate us, but it doesn’t always work out that way.

We still had problems with water pressure, this time more than on our previous trips. Although from what I hear it’s only the nude rooms near the hot tub that have a problem. We ended up just taking bathes, and said the heck with fighting with the shower. The new AC units in the room work great, and when turned on, they mask all outside noises for those that hate to here the frogs or late night partying in the hot tub. Phones in the rooms were new for us, and we thought we wouldn’t appreciate the addition, but they are great for making dinner plans with newly found friends. The nude pool complex was a much-needed addition from our last trip, and we enjoyed it tremendously. The sex-police were non-existent, although we were playing true-or-dare in the hot tub one night with some young college kids, and it got a little wild, a guard showed up and told us to tone it down a little. But, I think it was more because of the noise than the sex. The weather for our trip was perfect, it only rained one day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. We had scheduled only 8 nights this trip (We normally stay 2 weeks at a time), and on our last night there, we were sitting on the nude beach watching the sunset. Cyndi started crying, saying she didn’t want to leave yet, neither did I, so we extended our stay 3 more nights. From all the trip reports and online messages we have read, it had seemed that our beloved Hedo had changed drastically. We were a little apprehensive, wondering what to expect. Well other than the nude pool complex, it was just like the Hedo we left 3 years ago. We met and made a lot of new friends this trip, and would like to say hi to them all, you know who you are. I will leave out the names to protect the guilty, I mean the innocent. LOL

We had a great time, and have already scheduled our return trip for June 29 to July 13, 2000. We can’t wait to get back home, three months and counting. This was my first trip report, and I’m not much of a writer, but I’m sure they will get better with practice.

Respect,

Greg and Cyndi
