Stan & Terrie - 07/99

This was our second trip to Hedo II and we were READY! We were a little
more prepared this time as to what to take and what to expect when we got
there. We arrived on July 11th at around noon and were told our rooms were
not available yet, so we relaxed in the dining area for a while, with our
first (of many) dirty bananas! After some coaxing (not much!) from Shaka, we
stripped to the proper attire and proceeded to the nude pool! We were home!
As I did the year previously, I drank way too much on the first day and went
to bed rather early. We did eat at Pastifari's that night, and as last year,
I don't remember much. My husband said I enjoyed it.

Monday, July 12th: We woke and went straight for the nude beach. Stan
enjoys swimming to the docks and laying out there a while, where he met up
with Danny & Carmen, and what a hoot they were! We enjoyed them so much!
Danny is hilarious! My husband (fiance' at the time, we were married on
Thursday July 15th) begged me to be in the wet t-shirt contest later that
day. I was a little aprehensive, but drank enough to not really care.
Besides, it was raining and there wasn't anything else to do, so.....I did
it! And I won!! That was a big shocker, I have never done ANYTHING like it
before in my life! But I had a blast. The funniest part was as a
semi-finalist, I had to lap dance the man of my choice and I chose a man in a
uniform. The trick was to "get him up", and I guess I did from the reaction
of the audience. When we were leaving Hedo, I saw him at the airport, he was
a pilot!!! I had a blast and hopefully will get to do it again next time we
go. That evening at dinner, I met Vladimir and learned how to juggle! It
was a lot of fun, and Stan & I ended up becoming good friends with him.

Tuesday, July 13th: Same routine in the morning, beach, pool, drinks, etc.
But today, I decided to try the trapese! Vladimir had assured me he would
not kill me. It was different than I thought. I never thought I could hold
my body weight up, but its all in the momentum and timing. The hardest part
was climbing to the platform. Tells you I need to excercise more. This was
a very special day for us, it is when we met Marcus & Charlotte, Ken &
Tammie, and Lisa & Keith. We bonded right away! We had also become closer
to Rhonda & Duane, which made it even more special.

Wednesday, July 14th: I WAS SO SORE! That trapeze stuff will kick your ass!
I told Vladimir if I could, I would whip him. But I could hardly move. As
the day went on it got a little better. We pretty much hung out by the pool
and met up with some other great people. There was Sandy & Bob, Tom &
Annette, Kenny from New York, Dan the wild man from Texas, Charles &
Lenora,Shawn & his wife (I can't remember her name!) and so many more that I
can't recall at this time. We did finally get to meet Denny and Diane which
was so great, since it was because of them we ever went in the first place.
There were several people there that resembled celebrities, like Bill
Clinton, Sinbad, Bob Vila, and I was with Garth Brooks! By the way, Sandy,
hows that crab bite???

Thursday, July 15th: Wedding Day! We had asked Marcus & Charlotte to stand
up for us (thanks, guys!) and Ken & Tammie, Lisa & Keith, and Rhonda & Duane
were there as well. It was beautiful! The pictures are awesome! Even
Vladimir made an appearance. After a trip to the room to make it official,
we joined everyone at the nude pool for a photo session! There are some
great pictures of everyone at the water fall. I even stood over the fountain
for a few shots! That was wierd! That evening was the Toga party, and I
couldn't believe I tied for 1st in the sexiest toga! Mine was quite
revealing, but at this point, who cares! It is so neat to see the different
ideas people come up with.

Friday, July 16th: We went snorkling with our group and had a good time.
Ken had a good point: With that big ocean that we were snorkling in, how
come everyone kept bumping heads? Then it was back to the pool for more sun,
the grill (yum!) and drinks. We did the hot tub late that evening, as we did
every night, and had a great time. Lisa & I held "Southern Dialect" lessons
for all the northerners. Taught them how to make a one syllable word into
two! Ya'll don't forget, now!!!

Saturday, July 17th: Last day at Hedo. Pretty much the same routine, but it
never gets old! That evening we all dressed up and sat in the piano bar for
a while before dinner. We really became close and learned alot about each
other. That is where Duane proposed to Rhonda in front of everyone and we
all got teary eyed! We are looking forward to going to Texas for the
wedding! After dinner it was back to the hot tub for more fun! Did you know
you can make a simple drinking glass into a hot tub whoopie cushion? It
makes for great conversation. This was also when Stan, Duane, Shawn & Ken
got in trouble for getting into the hot tub before we were allowed. And it
wasn't just that they were in it, it was how they entered! Cannon balls!!!

Sunday, July 18th: Had to leave, much to our dismay. We had a wonderful
time and have been speaking to everyone via e-mail since. We are looking
forward to meeting up with "the gang" again next year at Hedo, hopefully!
