Mike & Deenie - 08/99

This was an anniversary trip for Deenie and I. it was also our first time to
Hedo. Initially we had booked on the prude side because of our prude side.
(there are some that will argue that we don't have a prude side, after Hedo
I don't think anybody does). But after having contact with Alan and Lori via
Denny's web site we changed to the nude side prior to leaving. We later
discovered it was a good decision.

We flew into Montego Bay on Air Jamaica and rode the bus to Negril. It was a
good experience and gave us an opportunity to see more of Jamaica than just
the resort property.........We arrived on Sunday at noon and an amazing girl
named Shaka walked us through the hoops. (recommendation: initially we were
told it would be three hours for our room, until they realized we had Apple
Tours and was then told our room was available immediately).

Our desires for the week were to meet people, enjoy and participate in
activities, have time by ourselves, enjoy the food and drinks, stay up late
and wake up early. We didn't want to miss out on anything, except sleep.

We found out quickly we liked not wearing clothes. Of all people Kenny and
Ginger were the first we met on the nude beach.........how could you not be
comfortable? It is a unique experience to have casual conversation with
people and everybody is nude. It never got old. The Jamaicans must think we
are crazy.........It is very cool to leave your room with nothing on BUTT a
towel and "cheap sunglasses".

We enjoyed the sunset cruise, it was a highlight for us. Thank you Alan and
Lori our friends. Parasailing was enjoyable but too brief. The nude massage
is not to be missed.
We rented a taxi for $30 and went into Negril. Good experience but next time
(and there will be a next time) we will have the driver take us to different
areas around Negril....Snorkeling from the boat was good but you can see
more fish by the rocks at the nude beach. We will get our dive certification
prior to going next time. The weight equipment in the work out area is
sufficient and in very good shape.......we also left the property and walked
down the beach. It is interesting to see the other resorts and hotels. When
you are approached by some of the locals just say not interested (if you are
not) and keep walking. It was not a problem.

We enjoyed the entertainment and themed nights...........talent show (good
Jimmy Buffet), Elvis, Fire eater and the nightly band. The art auction is a
bomb and needs to be deep sixed. PJ and Togo nights are a blast. Don't
forget your camera..WOW!!!!!...........Barb thanks for encouraging Deenie to
enter the wet T-shirt contest. Both of you did great and have more courage
than Bill or I. It was the "breastist" thing I've seen all year.

What a great week. There were a couple of nights the sun was coming up
before we got to sleep.........Beware.........the disco is deadly........it
is open until 5:00 a.m.

Each night could not end without a trip to the hot tub and not a night went
by that there wasn't entertainment there. For us the hot tub was the best
place for meeting people. It was quiet and the conversation and sights were
always good. Also the 24 hour cold beer tap was about 10 feet from the hot
tub.

With all the places to travel to we may have to return to Hedo next year.

To all the friends we made....Hedo all year!!!!!!!!!! Mike and Deenie
